The whole point is likely that they're not easy to remove.

Default Huge Success for Reform

Reform conference shows party's growing ambition like never before

Nigel Farage has a focus and sense of purpose I haven't seen in the best part of two decades of reporting on him.

He sees an opportunity the like of which he has never seen before.

And that wa the opinion of the BBC!

"The most stable relationships, the ones that last the longest, tend to be between men and women," says Farage as he welcomes Conservative MP Danny Kruger to Reform UK

Nigel Farage - on his third marriage
Lee Anderson - on his second marriage.
Richard Tice - divorced

The truth is the data on divorce rates studies vary widely, partly due to same-sex marriage being relatively new.

Some studies find within-five-year divorce rates is 12.3% for lesbians, 8.3% for heterosexual couples, and 2% for gay men, however other studies show that divorce rates are higher within lesbians, then gay men, then straight couples. Other studies suggest the divorce rate between heterosexual couples is 2 in 5 while between two men it's just 2 in 5.

This will continue to ebb and flow as time goes on and more gay and lesbian marriages take place and they have more time to be married. Experts suggest that the divorce rate between both heterosexual and homosexual couples will even out within time.

Outside of marriage, the average length of a lesbian relationship is approx 2.7-3.5 years, for heterosexual relationships its between 2-5 years and for gay men, between 4-6 years.

ILR is permanent legal status, granted after years of living, working, and paying taxes in the UK. People who hold it have already proven their contribution.

Not a political person but I'm just hoping this won't affect the Common Travel Area we have between the UK and Ireland which allows each others citizens to live and work in either country and many other rights.

Exclamation

Nigel Farage’s Reform UK faces a showdown with the EU over “massive cuts” he has planned to welfare spending.

The Reform leader revealed plans on Monday to change the law so that only UK citizens will be eligible for welfare, not foreign nationals, which he claimed could save the taxpayer £230bn.

He pledged to abolish indefinite leave to remain (ILR) – which entitles migrants to benefits – including for those who already have been granted the status. Some 430,000 non-EU citizens currently have ILR, according to Oxford University’s Migration Observatory.

Zia Yusuf, Reform’s head of policy, clarified on Monday that the party was not scrapping European settled status, which grants the same rights as ILR for EU citizens to claim benefits.

Some 4.12 million EU citizens have successfully applied for settled status in the UK, of which 770,000 are currently claiming universal benefits, according to figures from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP).

It means migrants with EU settled status account for 9.7 per cent of Universal Credit claimants compared with just 2.7 per cent for non-EU migrants.
