Legion - Almost crossed the line of 'so bad it's good', but not quite. It was just plain bad.

Also watched Transformers (2007) for the first time yesterday. I can see why so many 12 year old boys love it, but it didn't do much for me. I fell asleep and missed the ending, and when I woke up I wasn't even tempted to rewind it to see what happens. Granted it was late and I was tired, but still...

The Descent 2 : Same scare factor but minus the characterization of the first. Don't think it was entirely necessary to trample over the same ground again.

I never saw the original but got dragged to the cinema by friends to see the sequal. Not much to it except lots of unintentional comedy (like a lot of horrors).

It's a very tired sequel and not a patch on the original.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

Definitely one of the best looking movies of recent times and it's easy to see why the movie was commercially successful despite the large budget given the amount of shock value and eye candy. It's interesting stuff, a dark comedy featuring a strong cast and definitely worth a look for anyone who hasn't seen it already. Sadly the movie is light on character development and features a slightly hackneyed screenplay, which goes completely off the rails in the third act.

6/10

Case 39.

Some parts were really sucky, but others were surprisingly tense. The last 40 mins or so were quite chilling. It might just be me, I have a thing about creepy kids in horror flicks Anyone who liked Orphan (probably my favourite horror film of last year) would like this - very similar.

Valentines Day. I liked it, was quite good. So many big names though and loads of different storylines going on too. Bit hard to keep up.

Aww I enjoyed Percy Jackson, but I suppose you have to like that particular Potter style sub genre to enjoy it. What I will say though is that the second hour is much better than the first, but yes it's not for everyones tastes.

Tut tut for the piracy though That's not how films are supposed to be seen

City of God.

Amazing, can see why it's #17 on the IMDB top 250.
