Right, I'm going to give in after three years and finally plop down the dough for a PlayStation this Christmas. Too long have I been waiting to play Metal Gear Solid 4.

Actually I decided getting a system just for one game was a bit of a waste of cash. I will indeed be enjoying MW2 and AC2 this Xmas, but on my Xbox, playing online with my mates who all own Xbox's .

Gran Turismo 5

It will feature nearly 1000 cars and 70 circuits, including the test track from Top Gear.

Polyphony boss Kazunori Yamauchi has said they could release the game now, but they're trying to make it "perfect" first.

Assasin's Creed doesn't look bad but I'm in a bad mood with Ubisoft so I'll wait until it's cheap to get it.

Ah, MGS is good, but not good enough to buy a new console.

I wish I still had my PS2 though. I bought all my Silent Hill and Final Fantasy games to my new place in hopes of one day buying a new one. Gotta be less than £50 these days.

Yeah no doubt. SH1 was brilliant but SH2 was my favourite. Probably my favourite game of all time.

SH2's amazing, It's got one of the best game stories ever. I was never a fan of SH4 though and I haven't played the Xbox one yet.

Dead Rising is quality. It's as good as you make it. Technically, you can beat the game by just staying in the empty room where the game starts for 72 in game hours.

I suppose I prefer more atmospheric zombie games. Resident Evil 2 was another game that absolutely terrified me when I was about 10, and still does.

Any Time Splitters Fans?

Love that game The Multi Player mode was something else

Use to play as " Bear " most the time

Ain't heard any news on a fourth one

TimeSplitters was incredible. I used to play as Duckman Drake or Mr. Big. Great fun even playing basic deathmatch with the bots. The levels were very thematic which is far better than playing shooting games in Random Bunker #17. Hard as nails too at times - especially the arcade league stuff in TimeSplitters 2.

The fourth game was cancelled because Free Radical went into liquidation and are now Crytek UK .

In other news, I just finished Lost & Damned and I absoloutely loved it. Nice stand alone story and Johnny is a far more old school GTA style character. No self pitying Niko Bellic = win.

Now for Ballad of Gay Tony.

I love DR, it's got a few problems but it's a fun game. RE2's great but I love the original, I still play it loads on my DS. I always liked but never loved Timesplitters.
