Good god man. Null argument. I am thinking of this from a global perspective. Globally speaking, we are not wild. We are an advanced society. We are not instinctual with approach to everything. We have ego. We can understand our world. We record history and create art.

We. Are. Not. Wild.

If you were wild, YOU would be catching YOUR own food out in THE WILD with your teeth. A farmer would not be growing and breeding it for you.

Do Bears breed Salmon? No. They cant. Because they are wild. And we ... are not wild.[/rquote]

So...these kids can protect themselves from Lions and tigers?

Do they form the majority of the make up of the world we live in?

No. Thought not. Plus I ALREADY alluded to tribal existence.

We could bite animals in the wild , it is possible to do so. But because of laws we can not do so. Therfore we have wild traits.[/rquote]
No, therefore we do NOT have wild traits. We have law. And technology.

Your arguing FOR me at this stage. WILD ANIMALS DO NOT HAVE LAW AND TECHNOLOGY.[/rquote]

But they could. They use techniques in the wild like technology we use. They have given us ideas. We could give them ideas too.

I already saw the picture. We all saw it.

They make up a fair chunk of Africa, yes, but small in relation to the rest of the world. They are poor, unfortunately. Victims of there condition. Not sure have you realized this, but it takes money to start a chicken plant.

The argument is totally meaningless.

No. Abstract point. Bears are not going to set up a judicial system anytime soon. Nor are they going to build slaughterhouses sometime within the next millenia.

But we have these things. Because we are not wild. Your delving into fantasy at this stage.

This thread was created to pose the question of eating meat. You are posing a different question. You are saying we are wild. This is wrong. We are not. There is no opinion in fact. I have already proved to you how we are not wild. In fact, I cant believe I have to. I am thinking you just have nothing else to argue hence why you made that post, to try and salvage something.

Let's pose another question then. Do you think the vid in the OP should be shown to kids?? Or what age do you think? Should we shelter them from where their meat comes from?

Either way i can't do it, I drop weight extremely quickly as it is without meat id look terrible wouldnt be able to gain too much size or muscle.

Tuna
Chicken
Mince

Are very important.

Ohhh and even my cat can tell the difference between Quorn and meat.

Quorn is decent, but its not meat. Im picky with food and I can just tell, there is that after taste which isnt satisfying. Plus they don't make quorn steaks haha, and if they did it wouldn't have that lovely stringy falling apart texture.

Some people need to get a grip and realise there are other opinions in the world other than yours, some people like meat and some people aren't upset at the fact it came from a living thing. Get over it. It is not murder because if it was murder everyone would be locked up... its a fact of life that we eat meat, it is natural to us... always has been and always will be. Our body requires meat to survive, obviously now with quorn and other stuff it is made possible to not need meat... but without technology you would be unhealthy not eating it.

My reason for eating meat? I really enjoy it, there is nothing more I enjoy than meat, steak, chicken, fish, lamb, pork... I like it all. If I enjoy it then I am going to do it... it is a free country.

Fom,Quorn do like EVERYTHING,steaks and all. But I've been told the only things that taste like meat are the mince and the chicken burgers. I don't remember what meat tastes like. As I said before I don't mind people eating meat as long as they don't think I should. It's a nice idea that everyone could be veggie but it's never gonna happen so no point trying to convince everyone to do it :P

[rquote=2616781&tid=148326&author=Princess]Fom,Quorn do like EVERYTHING,steaks and all. But I've been told the only things that taste like meat are the mince and the chicken burgers. I don't remember what meat tastes like. As I said before I don't mind people eating meat as long as they don't think I should. It's a nice idea that everyone could be veggie but it's never gonna happen so no point trying to convince everyone to do it :P [/rquote]

Haha, I have had quorn mince before... it was alright. You could tell that it was getting there, but me being a weirdo could just tell, there was that slight thing missing. But if you have forgot what meat tastes like then I can understand how much you think it tastes like meat because its close. I am exactly the same as you, I have nothing against vegetarians as long as people don't throw it on me
I even want to try out being a vegetarian just as an experience, I could never do it because I love meat. But I still want to try it for a bit!
