Not self harm but once i got so angry I punched my sisters bunkbed and cut all my knuckle. I felt better after, but my hand didn't.

Yeah, I used to whack away at my stomach area with a blunt knife a few years ago and stub fags out on myself because I wanted the rush but without the risk of like ... death.

Stupid thing in hindsight obviously. Though I still stub fags out on my arms and tongue to get free drinks off people in clubs.

I've purposly done stuff to hurt myself, but its not like with a knife or anything so I dunno if that's classed

You should put "[Potential Trigger]" or something in the title (well, don't feel obliged ha, just my suggestion ).

I think everyones self harmed to an extent, I don't mean slashing your wrists or burning your skin off, but things like nipping our skin when angry, biting our lip til it hurts etc are all examples, and these examples help people who go "I don't understand why someone would do it" - understand a bit more.

I was about to say no till I read your post, yepp Ive done this a few times. Key situation is when somebody is narking you off or been gossiping about ya and you bite your lip to stop you saying something to them

That's an interesting point too. I have a very compulsive personality. I used to clench my fingers, not together, but on there own, all the time. You know when you stiffen you fingers up. Really horrible sensation but I kept going back to it out of some bizarre compulsion.

Another less extreme example for perspective would be scratching an itch or picking a scab.
