They haven't got long left, legends and they will be really missed when they finally quit.

I'm hoping Anderson can make the most of another chance or a few of the players step up to the plate.. Hargreaves should just quit altogether.

I've noticed Gibbo has improved his game of late, hope he carries this confidence into the league etc.

Couple of injuries in the United camp, nothing major at the moment.

United definetly doing no more transfer activity.. hope for a win on Sunday and Paul Scholes is such a LEGEND!, his form gets more class every match although he'll never curb his eye for a tackle and getting booked.

People also need to give Wayne Rooney time to get back to his best, sure it will happen soon.. the more pressure you are under the harder it gets.

Evergreen Ryan Giggs has extended his illustrious career by another 12 months after signing a new contract with Manchester United.

The former Wales international previously indicated his wish to continue his career into a remarkable 21st season.

The news that United fans wanted to hear arrived on Friday when it was confirmed that Giggs had put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal.

Giggs has played in every Premier League season having burst onto the scene against Everton at Old Trafford in March 1991.

The 37-year-old has been a regular in United's side ever since, amassing an incredible 11 Premier League titles with the English giants.

"All I've ever wanted to do is play for United and I've been lucky enough to do that for 20 years," he told the club's official website.

"It is great to know I'm still contributing to the team's success and I feel I've got a lot to offer on and off the pitch.

Shame there is no loyalty around like Giggsy has shown for the last 20+ years and it will be sad when he does hang up those boots eventually but a spectacular end to an illustrious career.

Rio Ferdinand is the latest big-name Manchester United player to heap praise on retired team-mate Gary Neville.

The veteran right-back quit the game earlier this month and has already started working with United's academy players in an effort to complete his coaching badges.

Neville acquired the reputation of being a militant presence in the dressing room and once advocated strike action over Ferdinand's omission from the England squad .
This was after it was revealed the centre-half had failed to turn up to a drugs testing session which ultimately saw him landed with an eight-month ban.

However, Ferdinand has seen a different side to Neville and says he will be missed around Old Trafford.

'Gary was tremendous,' said Ferdinand. 'He had great determination and drive and could deliver fantastic crosses.

'I remember the first time I joined up with an England squad, Gary would be doing his own stretches whilst the manager was talking to the players before training.

'People used to take the Mickey out of him for that. But it just shows you the length he would go to in order to maximise his potential.

'That sort of behaviour earned him a reputation as somebody who was very serious. But he was a really funny bloke and we will miss him in the dressing room

Ferdinand seems unlikely to be in United's side to face non-league Crawley in the FA Cup fifth round at Old Trafford tomorrow.

He has not featured since injuring his groin in the warm-up ahead of United's defeat at Wolves a fortnight ago.
Although with a Champions League trip to Marseille looming next Wednesday, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson would hope the 32-year-old is not sidelined any longer.

Boring match last night, Marseille were dangerous second half but luckily they didn't score, all to play second leg at OT and hope we make it through..

The midfield needs a desperate overhaul in the summer, can see a few departures in the squad and a few big name additions then bringing in new youngsters or promoting them from the youth team.
