There may be a double standard against him/uglier people when it comes to hitting on girls, but let's not pretend he didn't have the biggest handicap (figuratively) of anyone coming in. Bob Righter did more than Steve in month 1 and he still had tons of support. If he'd just continued playing comatose the prize would be guaranteed.

If Steve was flirty from the start and didn't set himself up as the father of the house going for the little blonde would be a lot less awkward, too.

But imagine the hate if John James had a girlfriend, not even kids, back home and started going for Keeley. He'd have been evicted Friday and lynch mobs of ladies would be headed for Australia. Now that I think about it, most looks double standards are reversed in Big Brother as some sort of vicarious revenge fantasy act.

This. If he was interested in anything other than playing the game with her then he wouldn't have been looking at the camera the whole time he was doing it. That is why he went in the diary room and said what he said because he was playing her.

I had no thoughts about Steve either way really, but he's hit the bottom of my list after the Keeley thing, and she's right down there with him.

When they were in the nest and he was grabbing her... he slapped her arse. I'd have freakin' killed him for that. How insulting. She's as bad for gobbing off about how strong and assertive she is and then allowing him to behave like that. She must like it... or she's using it to her advantage. In my opinion Steve made it perfectly clear quite early on what kind of creep his is with his 'why don't you just bend her over the table and give her one' (or words to that effect) comment to JJ about Sunshine.

His behaviour with Keeley in the nest was icky in the extreme.

Yesterday afternoon when she was snuggling up to him and Rachel was on the other side it really was vile ,Why as he not done this from day one? why wait for the newbies to come in ?

oh get real ffs chuff, it looked sweet, like they had went to him for a snuggle and some reasuring comfort, which being the decent bloke he had no problems giving out..I'm sure his wife isn't weeping into her pillow at the thought of him running of with one of them, and i'm sure his kids will have been through a lot more because of cruel taunts by kids at school about his disability to let this bother them.

Steve really freaked me out last night. He was talking really weird to Rachel last night, saying there was something wrong with her eyes.

'I don't know what it is, but I am still trying to work it out,' he said. It wasn't funny and you could cut the atmosphere with a knife. I wonder if Rachel was scared. Coz he scared me!
