maybe i am wrong but so far i haven't seen any question answered at all.. he just seems to slime and snake his way away from questions he doesn't want to answer..

if he can't even answer ordinary questions like that then he shouldn't make claims about being some kind of prophet or being drunk on the lord he should just keep his mouth shut and his bizarre rituals and ideas to himself IMO

you can tell he is a misogynistic, prejudiced and intolerant person its one rule for him and another for everyone else.. he even backstabbing his best friend Ben after all the time they spent together.. He sucks people in with his claims of loving everyone but really he just thinks hes better than them. If i were Josie i'd have punched him with his size 18 comments, what an insenstive pig hardly Jesus Christ is he more like the anti-christ if anything!!!

C'mon BB Producers, you're a fcking DISGRACE you should be ashamed of yourselves!!!
I believe careful editing can only tell us half of the story, however, if Dave is being drunk (some Christian), saying something manipulative or taking out his two stale chicken fillets on camera and it gets shown, he only has himself to BLAME.

The negative things that are being shown qute frankly a man in his position should not be doing full stop, especially if he is making a living of his congregation in Christs name.

Look, in the context of this conversation it's kind of irrelevant whether you approve or disapprove of his behaviour. The comment i made was from my viewing of the Live Feeds and then seeing the HL show. I strongly believe that the producers are focusing on more of a negative storyline or side to his personality. Do you agree or disagree? Do you think over the course of the series Dave has received a fair, good or bad edit on the HL show?

I believe he receives he receives a neutral edit on the whole. If the more negative aspects of his personality are coming through, that simply relfects that he behaves in a somewhat unsavoury any hypocritical manner on many occasions - for Dave, his views on how others should be acting is "do as I say, not as I do".

I also feel he benefits greatly from the fact that it is impossible to condense or portray (within a 1 hour HL show) the many hours of real-time character assasinations him and Ben partake of (particularly when together in the Nest)

Thanks for responding and not filling your post with a hate filed diatribe (as many others have). I'll give you a couple of points as to why i believe he's NOT getting a neutral edit. First was kind of discussed toward the start of the thread, they seem to have been running with some kind of negative pervert "storyline" theme with him and Andrew in the last few days. NOW...BB supplied them with "pampering" products twice, he's just participating and having fun with it. Did we see the others putting on the pampering products? If you watch the live feed for a significant amount of time you will see every day, at least a few times he will have other HMs or the whole group in fits of laughter from his joking around. That is NOT a biased observation, but simply a FACT. Yet his funny moments rarely make it on the HL show. BUT, they're happy to show some religious "tokenism" where Ben asks him to say grace at dinner or something...

Sorry - I didn't regard the 'pampering' product scenes as being particularly down on Dave as opposed to something to do to pass the time with others participating.

I felt his hypocritical side was fairly well portrayed by the fact he roundly slated Caiomhe for offending his sensibilities through public indecency one night, then happily dropped his drawers in the bedroom (with Josie and who knows who else present) 2 nights later. "One Rule for You, One Rule for Me" it seems.

I'd suspected you might be rounding on the producers for showing his antics 'when dunk on the Lord'. As Dave seriously believes in this, I would be sure Dave himself would have no objections to these behaviours being portrayed on the HL.

Cheeky cow - what right did she have to ask him that? They should all answer that question, if he has to, including that little idiot!

Well he deserves it. He made such a scene about Caoimhe ( such an easy target) about her wet shirt but it was alright for him to be showing himself to the cameras. This is 2 days running now. Do we want to see him naked NO. What is the difference between him and Caoimhe, he was naked and Caoimhe was unaware that the wet shirt had shown her body. She was running around not posing in front of the cameras. He was.

His actions were for show and Caoimhe's were accidental.

Dave works from home, wow busted, what a scumbag. He said he would like his kids to go to a private school, who wouldn't if they had the money? As it stands, they don't.

Ah well...another day, another crapola Dave edit. Didn't see much of him really, a couple of small spots of him winding up JJ & J about the duet task, and him telling the "lads" that Ben's been down. I'm surprised they actually showed a snippet of his audition! alas we never saw him in the recording studio, that was the usual suspects. The "sing off" he had with Mario in the nest looked like FUN...but not shown. And how about him getting emotional and comforted by Rachel over the song chosen, because it was a fav and played at his best friends wedding. God forbid they show him being sensitive!

I'm sure if the BB producers where reading this thread they'd be cacking their pants with self pride...nice job again boys!

PS. Oh..but they did get his gag in about John & Corin's voices sounding like his cat after being given chili, i will credit them with that.

Regardless of your differing points of view on "bumgate"...everybody on the planet is a hypocrite to "varying" degrees. Dave is no Saint, and neither is Caoimhe.

The sad truth is that I firmly believe St Dave wasn't even (wrongly) arguing a point of salaciousness. It was a cheap coded dig to try to ensure the others nominated Caiomhe, nothing more noble.

Even if it was a "cheap coded dig", is that wrong? It is after all a game show...

Nope just another demonstration of his unsavoury game tactics, which was fairly reflected in the editing, and consequently most people were able to spot.

I think you'd have to talk to the guy himself to get the full story...but appears you have him "hung, drawn & quartered" already.

so one comment about his personal interpretation of the bible, that is shared by quite a few people but that really is an argument for another place rather than to be USED to score points against him, is enough to make him a homophobe and hating homosexuals rather than the lots of fun and interaction he actually has with the gay members in the house

when did he say that homosexuals were BENEATH him or is this another made up "fact" about dave too like the sending his kids to private school lie that keeps getting repeated
