Katie attracts those few passionate fans and they can get you far in this business.

I was making the point that not "all publicity is good publicity". Katie's press has been negative. Just because they're writing about you in the papers it doesn't mean that it's going to help make you popular. That's where I was going with that, as I think you probably know.

Won't help her record sales and concert tickets though. When she goes back to working in the hairdresser's maybe they can all go along and admire her there. There are probably enough chairs in reception for all of them.

He committed one of the worst crimes possible though... so he is obviously going to get bad publicity, Katie has done nothing much of note to get bad publicity but she gets it anyway because they know people want to hear about her and it will sell unlike most the others on the show

Any Publicity is good... it keeps you in the public eye.. the publicity from this won't harm her it will probably gain her more votes from her fans next week actually

Not all publicity is good publicity and it's naive to think so. Careers can be ruined by the press. Bad publicity colours people's judgement. I understand you like her, and that's fine. However, she is not popular generally.

but we are not wrong as she more than likely came bottom of the votes this week,and before you say anything,howcome the bottom 3 mysteriously changed to a bottom 2? and why did it go to cheryl second to make a decision on who done better in the sing off? i think it was because katie was bottom of the votes.

You have been wrong every week so far you all think she is going to go every week but she always hangs on because she is Amazing... the bottom 3 changed to the bottom 2 because they stopped doing double eliminations.... and who cares about that now nothing is going to change what has happened Katie is through and TreyC is going home.

Well as I said before we know at least one of the acts who will be in the bottom 2 or 3 next week,Katie again for the 4th time, as the public will be livid that Katie was saved again and the way she was saved too. Even after a terrible sing off performance.

The girl is simply awful and the poublic overall clearly don't like her at all unless she sings Jungle Book songs.

Yeah I think there is more contrived drama in this that we know and more voting 'for' future drama.

Treyc is the better singer. In fact, one of the best singers in the competition. She is a league above Kaitie,
HOWEVER...
...Katie is a mediocre singer yet has some kind of odd low-level lovey-hatey thing with the audience, stirs low-level press scandals and can develop into this anti-hero bad-girl and maybe even 'lovable loser' character for a few more weeks.

Treyc was one of my favourites but I could totally understand how she just failed to connect in any sort of way.
