Neighbours' Mark Brennan to rescue boss Danni from kidnapping

Neighbours' Mark Brennan will rescue his boss Danni as she is about to be kidnapped in an upcoming storyline.

Brennan and Chris have been attempting to keep Danni safe from her abusive ex-boyfriend Stephen Montague after discovering that she is worried he will find her.

Danni's fears prove to be correct when Brennan (Scott McGregor) sees a car waiting outside the garage and immediately gets suspicious.

Despite discovering that the car isn't registered as Stephen's, Brennan can't help but worry - although he decides to keep his suspicions from his boss.

When Danni doesn't turn up for a soccer game and Kyle reveals that she stayed back at the garage to work on a car that had just arrived, Brennan immediately knows what has happened and races off with Kyle to find her.

Neighbours reveals new-look Waterhole bar - first picture

Neighbours bosses have released the first picture of the show's new-look bar.

Charlie's Bar has had a complete makeover and has now reclaimed its original name The Waterhole.

The set revamp will be unveiled on screen later this year and it's thought that original character Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) will be responsible for the name change

Neighbours newcomer Naomi Canning could test one of the show's established relationships when she joins Ramsay Street, Digital Spy can reveal.

When Naomi arrives on the street, she already has a history of relationships with unavailable men.

Once she settles in, it quickly becomes clear that Naomi hasn't learned any lessons from her past mistakes when she sets her sights on a married guy who lives on the street.

Fans know that Brad Willis, Toadie Rebecchi, Matt Turner and Karl Kennedy are the possibilities from the show's regular cast.

Phoebe was in the show the same time as Todd, Josh, Melissa and Cody but they were all kids/teenagers and they were the "cool ones" before they all grew up and died/left.

Madge and Lou were just friends, never together. Jim was Todd's uncle I think.

Melanie was from very early 90's, she married Joe mangle (Skye's dad) in the end. She had an amazing laugh (also this scene features Kylie Minogue when she was in the show, lol)

Kym Valentine to return to Neighbours for Kennedys' 20th anniversary

Kym Valentine is set to reprise her role as Libby Kennedy on Neighbours for a three-week guest stint.

The actress returned to filming on Ramsay Street today (March 11) to celebrate 20 years of the Kennedys.

"I'm really looking forward to catching up with old friends at Neighbours, as well as getting to know many of the new cast," Valentine said. "Playing Libby was a very important part of my life and I can't wait to reintroduce audiences to her."

Libby's son Ben will also return to the soap, portrayed by new actor while other returnees for the Kennedys this year will include Holly Hoyland and Malcolm Kennedy.

Adopted son Zeke Kinski has already been confirmed as another returnee to mark the occasion.

Series producer Jason Herbison added: "We warmly welcome Kym back to the Neighbours family and we are sure audiences will be excited to see Libby back on Ramsay Street."

The scenes will air on Australia's Eleven in summer.

Glad Malcolm is returning too. I hope Billy and Anne will return as well but don't think that will happen.

Neighbours Ryan Moloney on possible Dee return: 'She could want revenge'

Neighbours star Ryan Moloney believes that his character Toadie Rebecchi's former wife Dee should seek revenge if she ever returned.

Viewers last saw Toadie's wife Dee in 2003 after Toadie drove their car off a cliff and into the sea, following their wedding ceremony.

Speaking in a Q+A chat session on the official Neighbours Youtube page, Moloney said that it would be 'interesting' to see Dee (Madeleine West) make a reappearance.

He said: "I think Madeleine West has moved on to some other things, namely gangland dramas where she is doing incredibly well. I think she is enjoying herself over there.

"Will Dee ever come back? It would be interesting. How could she come back?

"Maybe she could come back as a vengeful lover that I didn't keep looking for her and she needs to get revenge on me for driving her off the cliff in the first place.

Neighbours: Lauren finds out her daughter is alive

Neighbours' Lauren Turner will be shocked to the core when she learns that her secret daughter is still alive.

Viewers know that Lauren (Kate Kendall) is keeping quiet about the fact that she was once pregnant with Brad Willis's baby. However, she has always thought that the child died due to complications during the birth.

After years of being kept in the dark, Lauren finally finds out the truth about her daughter when Kathy is forced to come clean.

The drama begins when Kathy arrives in Erinsborough and sees that Lauren is preparing to share her secret with Brad and her husband Matt.

When Kathy can't convince Lauren that it's not a good idea to reveal the truth, she delivers shocking news of her own by disclosing that the baby didn't really die.

Kathy admits that she made a spur of the moment decision to lie to Lauren and kept up the pretence for many years, believing that she was protecting her.

The Kennedy's are my favourite characters on Neighbours and can't wait for most of the Kennedy's to return.

That would be a brilliant idea to recast Billy and then if Jessie wants to return one day he could play the character again.

Neighbours actress Jackie Woodburne will star as a scientist in a new science fiction series called Night Terrace.

Night Terrace is an eight-part audio comedy series written by John Richards, Lee Zachariah and the team behind the Doctor Who podcast Splendid Chaps.

Woodburne - known for her role as Ramsay Street's Susan Kennedy - will play Anastasia Black, a scientist who used to save the world as part of a secret government organisation.

Now retired and seeking a quiet life in the suburbs, she is left surprised when her house starts travelling in space and time.

Neighbours: Sheila Canning to become suspicious of daughter Naomi

Neighbours' Sheila Canning will become suspicious of her daughter Naomi after she arrives unexpectedly.

As previously reported, Morgana O'Reilly has been cast in the role as Sheila's estranged daughter Naomi who will turn up in Ramsay Street hiding several secrets.

Sheila is delighted by Naomi's appearance and is desperate to repair their damaged relationship, but soon finds it increasingly difficult to stay out of her business, especially when she becomes concerned by her sudden interest in art dealers.

While confiding in Susan over her doubts, Sheila reveals the reason why she believes Naomi hasn't contacted her in years - Naomi once had an affair with a married man and Sheila ended up contacting his wife.

Sheila later stumbles across Naomi's discarded sim card, but after she discovers her mum trying to reinstall the card to check up on her, Naomi is furious and accuses her mum of having learnt nothing from their previous fallout.

Desperate to make amends, Sheila later offers Naomi somewhere to stay until she gets her life back on track, to which she reluctantly agrees, but it is clear that Naomi is being far from honest with her mum.

Neighbours: Terence Donovan returns as Doug Willis

Neighbours bosses have officially confirmed that Doug Willis is heading back to Erinsborough.

Terence Donovan has reprised his role as Doug for a guest stint and will be seen back on screen in April.

Doug's return storyline sees him pay a visit to Ramsay Street to see his son Brad, who is now played by Kip Gamblin.

In a statement, Donovan said today (March 14): "It is very exciting to be coming back as the same character after all these years and I always loved the Doug Willis character.

"And I love the fact that he is a builder and he is encouraging his young grandson [Josh] to have a trade and be proud of what you do - I think that's very important."

Doug last appeared on Neighbours in 2005 for a guest appearance as part of the soap's 20th anniversary celebrations.

He was a regular on the long-running show between 1990 and 1994.

Neighbours airs Doug's return on April 9 in Australia and April 23 in the UK.

Neighbours releases new teaser promo: 'Big things are coming'

Neighbours bosses have released a new promo which promises "big" storylines ahead over the next few weeks.

The latest trailer features the first appearance of Sheila Canning's daughter Naomi and the return of Terence Donovan as Doug Willis.

Mark Brennan also appears in the trailer as he proposes to Kate Ramsay in the build-up to her departure from the show.

As previously announced, actress Morgana O'Reilly has been cast in the role of Naomi, who has a strained relationship with Sheila.

Naomi's initial episodes will focus on whether she can reconcile with her mum, but she also has other dramas ahead as she sets her sights on one of the married men on the Street.

Donovan's reappearance as Doug was officially announced earlier today. His return will air on April 9 in Australia and April 23 in the UK.
