Zippy it is more White Heart/Where's The Party more then Express Yourself. To me it just sounds like Madonna's Broken from Celebration outtakes. It on second listens does sound TOO similar to Express Yourself.

This song is dull and is no different to anything in the charts. 21st Century Thriller, Yer right. Just wait for the music video.

well on closer inspection it may be. But it was Express yourself that leapt out at me on first hearing...and still does. I think, subconsciously at least, its EY that was the bigger influence.

I don't even have a problem with her copying from others...most artists do. But don't start talking your music up as being the future. Which is exactly what she's been doing with this new album.

If Lady Gaga was to use the 80's as her infulence a dance anthen IS NOT WHAT SHE SHOULD BE DOING! She should of done a ballod or a roack anthen not the same old dance pop we have at the moment. Madonna did both in her first 2 albums, Lady Gaga has done neither.

The Express Yourself comparisons are getting kinda boring now

Although I must admit this song does sound like something from the 80's, it will do well regardless but it's nothing futuristic with lots of heavy beats like I imagined.

well I haven't read the thread(if somebody else has mentioned it) or read elsewhere about it. It was the very first song I thought of when listening to it. Pretty obvious.

If its being mentioned over and over elsewhere then it just reinforces the point. Quit making OTT claims about her and then we won't feel such need to call her out. She makes good electro pop but its far from original.

Oh right well all over the internet people are saying it's Express Yourself 2.0, I do see some similarities but it's not exactly like it.

I haven't made any myself, I don't think this song is anything outstanding, but to be fair it has been hyped so much. One of the most anticipated songs ever I would go as far as to say and then you have people like Perez Hilton saying it's going to save lives and the Vogue editor saying it'll be the new Thriller.

I will repeat the comment I just posted on YT.

Typical pop out at the moment, Not unique in the slighest. No dobut with an overated Madonna copied music video to match. Lady Gaga you are not unique in the slightest. Dull pop.
