Madonna was speaking out for gays and supporting AIDs victims way way back when it was taboo for famous celebs to do so. She was one of the first major stars to speak out. Because she actually came from a community that was dealing with those issues and even had a gay brother.

Its other celebrities that have done all the hard work. Its like they ran the whole marathon and she's just joining in for the last couple of miles to get all the cheers and glory part. Now that is all cool and trendy to love the gays.

the way she makes such a big song and dance out of it is just crass. Says to me that she's just doing it for her own ego and self aggrandizing reasons. I find her increasingly very calculating and contrived.

and she's also a commercial ***** just like Beyonce. She was obviously born to be that way......a greedy bitch!
