Janet is safe, I thought she would be because she still has a big enough fanclub for this stage.

The Risk suffered even though they are good, because they are a bit same-old as before with acts like 1D and JLS (even though The Risk are much better than 1D IMO) and so they didnt get a big enough fanclub generated.

They left Janet until last aswell as I would have predicted even though I am sure she is in the top 3 of votes gained this week (obviously just a prediction) just because she did her worst performance last week and made it nervous for everyone who likes her

Yeah I think she needs to bounce back with a good week again, but even still many people like her. Still, its been 2 poor weeks in a row really, and so maybe if there is a 3rd some fans will begin to drop off.

The song choice needs to be perfect, there are alot of songs I'd love her to sing and as of yet she has not gone anywhere near them or the type of artists I am thinking,

Guns n Roses, The Police, Coldplay, Elvis, Jackson 5... I mean these are a tough bunch of artists and lets be truthful not one of them are something you would think of Janet singing. Even though her rendition of Coldplay and Elvis were really good.

She is getting backed in on betfair again. Was 4.6 when I logged on to there about 10 minutes ago and already 4.3 now. Though betfair is quite volatile, she could go back out to 4.6 in an instance I suppose.

I can see her catching Marcus as fave again by next week live show though now she has stayed, but she really needs a performance big time.

Nah she is still very sweet. I find it adorable how she was nearly crying yesterday, but she actually did well to hide it all and keep it until she got backstage probably. Showing she didnt want a sympathy vote or anything, and she is right when she says that she just wants it to be about the music.

I think she also got a bit peed off because they kept telling her to sing out of her comfort zone.

However you are right, she was better when she seemed vulnerable where as now she does have an edge to her most didnt think she would have.

Next week she needs to be given a song we could cry too like with Your Song and Aerosmith at Bootcamp, so far only the Elvis song gave me that feeling.

She needs to get back 'on form'. Her fans have saved her the last two weeks....I am one. But her audition is a long time ago, and she hasn't captured the imagination like I thought she would. I thought she was in the bottom three this week on performance. She needs to UP HER GAME.....and this week, preferably!!!

Wasnt at her best again last night but more solid than recent weeks. She changed the whole arrangement of a song, but I think it's time Kelly gives some up tempo backing music. It's not just about Janet being more up tempo herself, the song arrangements she is being given can be rather dreary for most of the public (though I like it personally)

She definitely needs something more up tempo or with a bit of drama to it, but suitable for her next week (not a Jackson 5 song). The whole arrangements given are a bit bland, but I am totally sure that isnt her fault. I really think Kelly and the X Factor production has ruined her (but also made her popular sure). Sure its easier to perform in your room on youtube, but her own youtube videos were fantastic and a mixture/variety of songs.

For me, as Louis Walsh says, she still is all about the voice and I think her week 6 performance was actually one of her best watching back, the main problem for her is that it was similar to other performances. Next week is most likely to be 2 songs surely? So hopefully her first one is something with an edge to it and if she wanted could still play safe with a ballad or something in the 2nd song.

By the way I always think she sounds good in them group performances and they are mostly up tempo songs, I think last week forgetting the words killed her as that aside the performance on the whole was reasonable. Forgetting words is always unforgivable though indeed.

I am still a fan anyway because I think Saturday was actually a very good performance for what was given to her. However yes she needs to show something different and give her audition type performance very soon.

I've liked Janet since the start. She's got a touch of the 'Luna Lovegood' about her. I really hope they find her some suitable songs before it's too late because the songs that have been chosen so far have been totally unsuitable.

Same here.....liked her from the start, but I voted for her this week, like so many others I am sure, mainly because I THOUGHT she'd be in trouble. A better performance, but has there been any real progression since 'that' audition? Certainly the songs given her, typical of XF, HAVEN'T BEEN GREAT FOR HER, and Kelly is too busy with her pet Misha to bother much about Janet, I gather. But still, Janet has admitted she has been FAR FROM HER BEST. She is now SECOND FAVOURITE with the bookies to go this week!!!! She needs to make lard-bucket BARLOW EAT HIS WORDS.....and fast......
