Its the dumbed down and childish editing combined with them axing the live feed that has caused it to be a complete flop and lets not mince around pretending otherwise big brother has flopped on C5.

The Nominations isn't questionable it's the same.
The eye isn't quesitonable.. It's different every year
It's the same Narrator.. just a slightly different script
The format still exists.. Just differences like Immunity which BB11 basically had.(save/replace)
The Evictions are the same..
The Housemates are always different but it is the same types. Its very BB5 as in fun wise.

Eye - Different template = A difference.
Narrator - (Basing on CBB9) No point in even being there but more of a conceptual thing = A difference.
Format - People can leave the house and come back (yes I know BB10 and 11 hated it then too) = A difference.
Evictions - Have not seen but CBB9 were not at all the same.
Housemates - No diversity only young TOWIE like people.

I didn't want to but i'm bored of people acting like this is some horrible show that is nothing like BB. When it has even less changes than BB11 did (which no one moaned about)

Before it launched people were saying it needed to change. Now they're crying because the producers made some minor changes.

Ah the live feed issue.Well, correct me if I'm wrong but you seem to be blaming c5 for a lot of things is the lack of live feed one of them? As it was c4 last year who took away the live feed for tv.

as for the diversity of housemates, how on earth could you possibly know what they are like if you don't even watch! It is also to early to judge the depth of each housemates personality as they are all tip toeing around each other at the moment judging their fellow housemates themselves.

As for sticking to the original concept, the only thing I can see that has changed is a little bit of music has been added to the h/l show which helps in cutting out a lot of shrieking and housemates chattering bollocks due to excitement,and of course the way we vote to save rather than evict which is something most fans have been shouting out to happen for a few years now due to the wackier housemates going to early.

as stated in bbspy.........Big Brother’s ratings have dropped below seven figures for the first time in a main series, with last night’s show attracting only 925,000 viewers.
take heed, 9pm good time, also get some grown ups put in... just leave in arron, mark, and louise.... im giving it till friday if no better im turning off aswell...

Nominations - BB11 has S&R which is far worse than immunity tasks because it was the nominated people putting whoever they wanted up. This is far better having the task before noms. It adds competion to the show.

Eye - Big deal, BB isn't the only tv show to change their logo after a decade of having the same. Be thankful its still an eye.

Narrator - Yeah he overdid it at the start. He's okay now. Again not really a big deal.

Format - No one has left the house so far.

Evictions - They were all the same.

Housemates - If you were actually watching you'd realise it's one of the best lineups in years. There's been more drama in the first week than the whole of BB11.

Yes you can look deeper. As in conceptually, Orwellian and 1984.
There is no concept it is reality tv for the sake of reality tv. No direction, no concept.

See you have to compare it to BB11. BB11 was not very much Big Brother other than in name.

I am talking about the original concept and roots of the show. I am not on here as a channel 4 lover or anything. They did a lot wrong too in the later years but there was always an element of the concept left (not really including BB11, but as it was last it was given a pardon). This channel 5 programme lacks everything that was original about BB.

Yeah the concept of people being under constant surveillance.

I forgot this year they stop filming to let the housemates leave for a fag break and go out to the local shops.

He only compared it to BB11 twice (and one was saying how the Housemates were so much better..), but you ignored like the other 4 points. Also people weren't anywhere near as much complaining for BB11 than now, just because of the channel and its slightly different.

Also Immunity is good, and its just adding something to the show, the concept has not changed one bit

Well to me there was more to Big Brother than just a generic tv show, its originality made it great. Clearly you don't agree which is fine but I watched for different reasons to most youths. I apologise I am not impressed with a house filled with attention seeking bimbos with no real depth and a show that not lives up to its trashy reputation more than ever.
