You can hardly compare album sales of someone who had two massive hits with someone who had the biggest mess of an era ever. The rest of Beys albums have all outsold rihanna because she could promote properly. The only thing rihanna surpasses Beyonce at is the hot 100, Beyonce (and the rest of the main pop girls) surpass her in every other aspect. From overall artistry to commercial and critical success, Rihanna will forever be the bridesmaid.

And just an FYI 4 sold just under 2 million and TTT just over 3 so it's not a 2 million difference
