I find this controversy fascinating still. I don't really think the backlash comes out of jealousy of her looks or anything like that, I think it's that people don't like seeing someone be overly confident, or perhaps just honest in a way that isn't humble, about themselves. It's not that she looks like a model, I maintain that she's probably just the kind of woman who exudes something that just draws people to her. I'm sure we all know women and men like that, the one that everyone seems to find attractive but they can't explain why.

..I agree..the Shannon twins were very unpopular in CBB..and I would guess that was mostly with females..they were confident of their looks..which imo they had every justification to be..but that confidence was percieved as 'arrogant'..and I think people prefer to see others humble about themselves.

..'pretty'..'beautiful' is subjective we all have different ideas of what we find attractive..but 'sex appeal' is more apparent and you don't have to be beautiful to have that. Sam isn't the most beautiful woman in the world imo..but I'm guessing she has sex appeal..and perhaps some..not all..feel 'threatened' by that

..on the other hand..she may just be a shameless flirt
