..I agree with Josy..TiBB is a mixed forum of lots of different age groups and some people might be embarrassed by some of the things that have been posted..and deem them inappropriate..but it wouldn't work to have threads that everyone isn't comfortable with so I think some of the things would be better in a social group so they're not there for the rest of the forum if they want them...

its no different to the jimmy savile sex case thread!,men having sex with children! some members might find that uncomfortable for some member's

If you felt that way Josy maybe you should have nipped it in the bud and deleted the thread altogether when Scott posted it. It was never going to a thread full of virtuous comments, and I have yet to come across an "innocent" TIBB member, maybe I'm just unlucky.

..yes, but it wouldn't be fair to have a 'male only' thread..or a 'female only' thread..you can't exclude anyone from a thread on a mixed forum, nor should you..so threads shouldn't embarrass anyone or make them feel uncomfortable otherwise the forum might not be as inviting to new members...anyone can start a social group and just invite who they want to...

..or keep it all in one of the chat threads

Pervasive and cringey sexual innuendos in lots of threads are a different thing entirely to me thread focusing on the discussion of a massive sex scandal I should think.

its a public forum,some on here would like to say who could post and should not, you cant wrap people up in cotton wool!,big brother is a show for adults you have to be 18 to go on it,it show sex drinking swearing bullying and lieing,

..it's also a regular forum for people who want to stay off season and feel comfortable with..it's important that members feel at ease with people they chat to every day...it's also CBB season and a good time to draw in new members...I'm sure they want to see a friendly forum..but not necessarily one that could be looked at as more of a 'dating site'....

and if the mods have a problem they deal with it by pm not spread it over the forum.

I can name at least two members who are not comfortable with it and are thinking of leaving,maybe we could have an adult thread that we could use a password to get in for the more mature people.
