That's a shame, it's a brilliant game

I would have loved to play but I didn't think it was fair on others as I wasn't sure if I could make an appearance at least once a day.

Also I think there are a few new members who would be great and thoroughly enjoy it, not sure if they applied, but I could ask peeps later tonight if you're still interested in running it

..actually, you must have spent ages of your time doing this...can you not delay it a week or so/give it one last push....we can post on people's walls/bombard them with PMs...this is too good a game and too much effort for this not to happen...this is silly...really, this is exactly the thing that the forum needs and I know that anyone involved will not regret that decision to participate....

To be honest, I usually leave a lot of the work until just after the series starts (since I only really need the immediate tasks prepared for launch) so there's still a fair bit of work I haven't done yet - and when I saw last week that I'd only received about 5 applications after them being open for a fortnight, I lost a lot of motivation to continue. Plus I'm not generally feeling massively creative lately, just general...stuff...going on.

But I would definitely like this to continue, and once I've got into the right frame of mind I'll be able to get ready quickly indeed, but right now I'm 3 people short - and haven't asked for any judges yet (I know Matt will be good for it and I asked Ben, but I'd need 2 more) - and need to get some stories written up. So this is partly my fault, I wasn't prepared at all, and I got disheartened by the lack of interest.

I want the game over before Christmas (partly because nobody will have time over the holidays, partly because it's not exactly a festive game )

So I'll set a launch date for Wednesday 27. November I'll PM the successful applicants their character profiles.

I'm writing up small backstories as we speak - have done 5 of them so far. I'll try and get them done before tomorrow night. Most people who applied have got in though so don't worry only 4 I can think of who applied, didn't:

Livia - you already know this, because you applied on the provision that I needed more members and by then I did, so thank you
Petemitch(number I forget) - I replied to you as well, saying I'll have you on backup if I ever need it because you applied only the other day sorry
Josiah - I'm really sorry, but on the basis of your performance in the last ICB you participated in, and other games, I don't think you were going to be active enough for this I had to narrow down the numbers to 16 'inmates'. As with pete, I will ask if you can be a replacement if I ever need it
and Lee. - you didn't send me the proper application and by the time you sent me a PM saying you wanted to apply, I'd already had enough of those that did apply, I think you've also played the game the most times so I wanted to give some others a shot. Plus I can't have someone who's just got married dying on me
