But you're still talking about things in a comparative sense. Each case is judged individually. The mods didn't permanently ban Stacey and have some future insight into what would happen with Mollie a few years later; nor did they presumably look at what happened with Mollie and immediately think back to what happened with Stacey - especially considering that the mod team involved in Stacey's ban is quite different from the one that exists team.

It was worse, I don't know anything about Mollie/Mike but I am pretty sure whoever used their pictures to find out about them were affected personally by their lies. Also, you seem to forget that at the beginning you stole pictures from a girl and posted them on the forum to tie with your fake persona. so obviously it;s easy for you to see past something like that,

Stacey saved the pictures of EVERYONE and made it public that the purpose was to use them for blackmail, that is disgusting behaviour that I wouldn't expect from anyway, also after her ban she let it be known that she didn't delete the pictures either, and for all we know she could still have them.

It wasn't worse Jessica, contacting family members & the school someone goes too, who is under 18, from adults is much much worse.

Especially from a member that was always very kind too everybody and probably had issues, It must have knocked their confidence even lower.

Especially when Mollie was begging the members to stop on MSN also, and the others were all laughing like bullies

Stacey even posted your facebook on the forum and it said your school on it, anyone could have contacted your school from that.

I asked that person too stop, and they added me too a group convosation straight away with 4 of you, so although one person did the contacting (and should be banned), alot of you were egging them on

To be honest all I've ever known about it was Raph was really upset, other people said they weren't going to talk about it on the forum, and then people comparing it with Stacey in threads like this to somehow try and make Stacey look better or something even though the two members had nothing to do with each other and the circumstances are completely different...

There's a big difference from a 15 year old girl and 18/19? year old woman, I'm sure she's learnt her mistakes and she actually brought a lot to the BB forums (and elsewhere?) when she was on and she's nice on twitter.

Very good points to be fair Reece, I agree there is a big difference between 15 and 18/19.
She should not be deemed a failure at 15,I am one who believes in building up not bringing down and as I said before, I got on well with her on here and liked her when she was on here.

As I said in the first line though, you make really good points in the post above.

No there isn't. 15 is hardly a baby, unless you are suggesting that any of the veiws/actions posted on here by 15 year olds and younger should be totally ignored, she knew exactly what she was doing, and that is what is worrying.

You can't have it both ways, either you are old enough to be trusted on chat sites or you aren't. All the teens wouldl then have licence to say and do whatever they like, and then cry 'but I'm only a teenager' when held to account.

People make mistakes when they are young, that is common fact. Teenagers still have a lot to learn in life (as I do) and have growing up do. Some mature earlier than others but to close the door on someone who was 15 and immature is a bit harsh.

It is always easy for those who had not been on the receiving end of someone's nasty behaviour to be 'forgiving'. But at the end of the day - it is not their place. It is always different when it's you or yours.

We have all been 15, and yes we all do stupid things, but to abuse the trust of other young naive people putting photos of themselves on site, is inexusable. 15 year-olds are not that stupid, which is why I said she knew what she was doing. Youthful naiveity can be excused, youthful nastiness tends to be more of a character flaw.
