Jim is clearly of the old school he said to Luisa to tell him how he is sexist as he doesn't want to be,maybe ,just maybe Jim is trying to get into a newer way of thinking and is asking questions,you could tell he was a bit uncomfortable asking but I think he was genuinely interested in different lifestyles,If you don't ask,you don't learn.
