Helen made some stupid, possibly offensive posts on social media (which can't be misinterpreted, as with your example) but also aren't all that damaging. I remember seeing fairly similar tweets that Danielle posted, but nobody was really up in arms about those

She does be friends with nasty people and doesn't like "mother Theresa" types. She hated Jale until Jale started to show her nasty side. She hated Kimberly until Kimberly started to show her nasty side. She hated Pav until he started to show his nasty side. To get into Helen's gang, you need to show a nasty side. If you don't you are the target of the nasty gang. She is a bully and a horrible person. She maintains that she is nice and loyal to her friends etc. Yeah, to her nasty friends, not to people in general. That is why she hates charity and nice people. She loved Steven because Steven was the ultimate nasty scumbag. When Marlon was kicked out of the nasty gang she wasn't bothered because he was never as nasty as the others to begin with. The closest people to her are the ones who are the most nasty. The ones she hates are the ones who are nice, or "boring" as she and her gang refer to them.

Ash & Winston aren't nasty people, they're normal in that regard. I won't spin it like they are saints because they aren't, but they're nothing like Helen. Kimbot and Jale I'll agree with because they joined her on a few of her crusades, but Ash and Winston have never helped her bully someone, they just laugh AT how angry and OTT she gets, not at the fact she's being nasty to someone.

..wow it's hard to know where to start with this or even understand it..this is Twitter stuff from a while ago/years ago right if I'm understanding it..?...


..ok, well it's not really a secret that I'm no Helen fan for various reasons but it's kind of important not to get lost in it all as well...I remember when Alex Rose was in the house..I think she was a similar age to Ashleigh, 18/19yrs..?..and toward the final it started to 'heat up' as these things always do and there was stuff that non Alex supporters were posting about things she had done when she was 14yrs old/stuff that made her look bad as a person and I know it happens but it's something I personally think is wrong..we have to either 'bring it all into the house' and equally for every housemate or only judge with the time in there..ok I know some things are hard to overlook and we shouldn't overlook them either because they're far too serious and homophobia/xenophobia and racism (which is also being said on DS because of some tweets..)...are some of these things and these tweets look quite damning...and ok she wasn't 14yrs old when she made them either but there is no 'age' where we can't do or say something wrong and dumb in our life, it's just that for Helen and BB housemates in general..the nature of what they've put themselves out there for by going into the house means more that things will 'come back to haunt them' type thing....but then if they had lived these perfect lives would they ever be going into the house..?..


..anyway, I think it's also important here to not only look at what the words are but at the person who said those words and the terminology she uses in a lot of things she says and what is just 'normal' for her... and yes that terminology insults and offends and yes it's wrong but for some things, I don't believe there is any thought or the thought there should be behind those words...I don't think there was any homophobic/xenophobic intent etc...it's just what Helen does/how she acts/reacts etc and yeah how she attacks as well if something has annoyed her and these words and phrases are just really nothing more or less than we've heard all through the series and for me don't show her up or as the trendy phrase is..'show her true colours' any more or any less than we've seen Helen throughout...Helen has her own terminology, it is a problem for her, it is unacceptable and she does have to learn to filter..if she had said these same words in the house then I have no doubt an official warning or a possible ejection even may have occurred but it's only for a few months in her life when she's going to be 'policed' like that so her life is never going to go well and she's always going to feel hostility from people unless she learns self policing..whether she'll ever do that, none of us will know...that is and will always be a big issue for her but is she racist/homophobic/xenophobic etc...?..no, I don't think that she is at all..I really don't....she just has no awareness of any boundaries of behaviour....
