First of all I really enjoyed this

I'm sad Des left because I was actually lowkey here to see more Des v Kat. But initially, the refusing to do anything at the start because he didn't want to waste any energy so early on and then shouting at them how to do something properly was so iconic Speaking of Kat she has the potential to be a legend.

I don't really know anything of the other tribes, because there's so many of them it's hard to get a proper judge on them all.

what's the deal with this show? I know it's 55 days but how many episodes per week and how long is each episode? I'm considering watching but it all depends on those things bc school's start soon and I'm not sure whether it's worth investing in.

What he said, and so far it's looking really promising (and also very much like the US version, just with double the cast and days and with a host a quarter of Jeff's age), so it really just depends how much Survivor you want taking over your life over the next few months

From what I've heard, it'll be 20-something episodes overall so it wouldn't necessarily be difficult to catch up later on if the schedule's a bit too full to fit it in

Just finished watching the premiere and I'm really really impressed so far. Great cast, good production - right up there with the US version. LaPaglia is a very good host for this, I thought he did a great job. Oh and I love that they're using Ancient Voices for the theme song and that they are showing a full intro. They're doing things properly <3

Episode 2's torrent's been up for a while if anyone's looking for it, and here are my thoughts on the matter:

-This is shaping up to be a great season, at least by non-US standards I was hoping for Aganoa to lose, partly for the lulz and partly so Evan could go immediately, but at least Vavau and Sue-Nami were safe, plus Saanapu's tribal was messy and that's always appreciated
-omg Barry spoke
-Nick... has nice nipples?
-Where was Khaos Kat, I didn't sign up for some one episode wonder dammit
-I take back some of what I said about Aganoa yesterday, because Krazy Kristie was fun to watch during her Abi-Maria-in-the-Cambodia-premiere tribute and Phoebe's storyline looks promising (but Lee's dull and an airtime hog) (and since when was Rohan pronounced Rowan? @ Australia)
-Queen of having zero confessionals yet getting about half the questions at tribal Brooke (when can Mary Sartain?)
-Queen of happiness Kate lighting a fire with her positivity alone
-Death/mosquitoes to Evan and also to Sam and also to Lee
-Everyone else is wonderful
-RIP Bianca, you were too good for this earth
-Probably RIP Peter too if he sticks around much longer
-I can't believe we got through two whole episodes of Survivor without a single mention of hidden immunity idols
