Not the strongest of opens tbh - but this show has potential. Late night TV is a market that needs to be cracked in the UK and this show really fits the genre.

They just need to shake off the BOTS feel to it - the Anthea Turner segment felt like a BOTS filler VT and they've obviously carried over the failed 'BOTS bar' from last year. I know it's being produced by the same team but they need to create new ideas for Up Late rather than borrow failed ones from BOTS.

You know a show's bad when it's borrowing segments from BOTS.

Let's be honest, up against the likes of Graham Norton and Jonathan Ross, Rylan had as much chance of a plank of wood doing well with this.
