To get rid of the white bits you should of saved it as a gif rather than jpeg. You could use the eraser tool to delete the white bits then take it into animation shop and save it and it will have rounded edges rather than pointed

Here is what it would be like if you had animation shop, I just deleted the corncers and saved as a gif. Also if you use ebay or parents do then ask them to check it out. I have just looked and you can buy the full version of psp 8 with animation shop for less than a fiver
