yeah John's entire purpose is reading from cue cards in loud wacky voices. It's a really sad archetype on this awful show.

The Steve/Becky feud is funny to me because at that point Steve had like no airtime and then they randomly throw in a DR about him taking pleasure in seeing Becky suffer despite never seeing them interact

Despite them getting rid of my favourites, I've kinda grown to like Shelli (and Clay at that)

They're not my favourites but they've brought a lot and have definitely played a part in why the first half has been great so far.

James putting them up though is a really big move

PoV should be interesting but unless either Clay or Shelli win it, I can't see anyone else changing the nominations tbh.

That's what makes BB17 a great season, everyone plays their parts well and even people who I didn't like at the time aged well.

The feeds were also great because even though there two clear alliances going after each other, they were still able to come together and have fun and do a lot of stuff as a house. I think Jeff and Jackie were key for that because since they already did TAR they were already used to separating game from personal matters. James has talked a lot lately about how this year's house isn't fun at all and Natalie's jealous she wasn't on last season bc she would've had so much fun.

This is true. Like I thought someone like Clay would be dull as **** in the beginning purely because he was a good-looking guy and it was obvious that he was put in just to the tick the token male hunk box. But that was just me judging because people like him on BBUK make awful housemates. I don't think there's anyone that's dull in this cast at all tbh. Even someone like Steve has a storyline in his random hatred for Becky.

Ugghh I wish I watched this series live last summer so I could watch the feeds as I'm missing so much. I'm going to look around on YouTube for some LF clips so I can get a better perspective on things.

Exactly. Like I don't watch the feeds but whenever he's in the DR, he becomes this annoying OTT caricature of himself. I'd like him more if he got more airtime outside of the DR as that's pretty much his claim to airtime. When he's speaking normally inside the house, I don't mind him.

It's the annoying "HOLLOH" during the live evictions that pisses me off and the studio audience laughing at it too
