I don't think so no, it's effectively like having a contract with Apple, you just get to update your phone for free once a year

Do you have the send the phone back? Because 12 month contract keeping the phone would be like £60+ a month.

I don't really know loads about it to be fair but from what I understand you have a contract with a network that's working with Apple and for a set price each month you get the phone and AppleCare for free, and then each year you get to upgrade free

Depends on the UK price whether it'd be worth it or not, I don't like contracts personally
