Big a Brother is the ONLY reason Channel 5's share rose above Channel 4's for the first time ever. Can't Pay We'll Take It Away might get 2-3 million per episode, but that's only 4-8 times a year, not every single day for 16 weeks of the year. Big Brother is their only show that makes a difference

Apparently the people speaking for Love Island spoke to other reality TV producers/bosses and warned them not to try and copy Love Island as it may do more harm than good. Of course Ben Frow will be the only one that doesn't listen.

Ben Frow has been the only one to listen to fans especially during bb14 which is Channel 5's most successful civilian series. He would respond to bb viewers emails but I'm guessing he's sick and tired of the constant hassle from bb fans he doesn't run the show this is why channel 4 ditched it due to people constantly complaining.
