I'm 21 hours in and quite honestly its the most fun game I've played in a long time, and one of the best Final Fantasy games yet.

The issue with mine is the HDMI controller, it cuts out (black screen) at random for a few seconds. It was doing it constantly at one point until I moved the console to a more open place and "propped" the cable in an exact way. It probably does it once for 2-3 seconds every hour or so of play now.

The thing is, the problem probably was heat related in the first place but... I now can't risk touching or moving the console at all or it might make it worse! A terrible catch-22

Hmm, the screen randomly goes black for a few moments? That was happening with my brand new PS4 Pro, and I just switched my old HDMI for the one that came with the console and it works fine now.

It's pre-loaded and there's a little countdown clock for activation. Come onnn stupid clock.

I am a bit ashamed to admit that after announcing it was up for early pre-load, it took me 36 hours to find the download ... Turns out you have to go via the game library, not the PS Store . But not to worry, the rather large download (90gb lol) finished over night and it's now ready to go at midnight.

Am I remembering it wrong or in the demo could you spam potions? Items are an ATB function now but I distinctly remember spamming them to beat the boss in the demo .

Not a complaint, it feels more balanced this way, I'm just wondering if I'm remembering it right

you lost your save? No cloud saves?

Also so far at least, I feel that I was right with what I said after seeing some YouTube videos before release... Playing as Tifa is loads more fun than Cloud . Also she feels slightly OP because of how fast her ATB builds compared to the others?

Tifa is definately fun to play, as is Aerith.

Ugh. I did once lose a 100hr Fallout 4 save once... But I ended up liking my new character loads more anyway.

Yeah, Tifa's a lot of fun. The skill she gets with her second weapon is quite insane since she can just stagger enemies in seconds with it.

I've just done Chapter 6 which was an utter pain in the arse, mainly due to trying to get all the optional materia.

Definitely harder, I keep playing too aggressively and paying for it. You've really got to remember to be defensive in this game.

i will definitely going to take that on board and i need to remember to focus on my levels too because that's my downfall. I'm stuck on 9,10,13 and 15 because i can't defeat a boss because my levels are crap.

9 I get, 10 I get if the boss you got stuck on was Seymour Flux or Yunalesca (first time fighting Yunalesca was my only Game Over in the whole FFX main storyline ) ...

... But how do you get stuck on 13 or 15

icr the 15 boss i'm stuck on but 13 had Barthandelus (third form) and that is NOT EASY
