Why is this a terrorist incident? Yes the young man was a refugee but this does not appear to have the hallmarks of any ideological reasoning behind it.

The man was simply mentally unstable generally. Can you not be a foreign national and just have a breakdown?
It's very confusing given the recent history of terrorist incidents to have some extremist link, there doesn't appear to be one. Therefore the suggestion he is is a little bit misleading.


I thought I’d heard that MI5 had a file open on his links with terrorism ?

I think the point Smithy was making is that whenever a poc or a foreigner is the perpetrator in an incident like this, it doesn’t take long before the incidents are declared as terrorism, but when white people do things like this, they actually take their time to investigate before declaring what it was and we all know why that happens
