No, that’s more reason not to get it as the people most at risk would of been vaccinated.

It wasn't an accusation, just a question.

It's not a mandatory vaccine so totally up to each individual.

I know people who feel the same as you.....although a few have changed their minds due to possible "vaccination passports" but as that is only supposition at this time its silly to decide whether to have the jab because it could, maybe stop you doing things.

I have flip flopped, although have now decided to get the jab when I get offered, mainly in case I could still transmit it to more vulnerable people who may not have been able to have the jab, not because I'm scared of getting the virus.

Same. I don't want to pass it on to others

What about those who are immune suppressed and can't have the vaccine. Does it worry you that you may put them at risk?

I thought it was only live vaccines that immunosuppressed people couldn't get?

Mind, I only 'know' this through my dad having no spleen. Hes been on about the vaccine, and I always thought it would be dangerous for him, but his doctor said this^

The passing it onto others bit is the only reasn I will get it mind. Hence, being quite unsure when it seemed it was all about lesser infection, rather than stopping spread.

I was just answering your question and yeah my only fear is things being restricted or “not allowed” for people who haven’t taken it but I’m sure it wouldn’t come to that

It would be pretty much the same for the flu as well, obviously I don’t want to endanger anyone’s life but I’m not going to take a vaccine purely to protect someone else with no benefit to me. I’ve had hep B and HPV vaccines because it’s to protect me and my body and both I feel are far more important than the covid one

I've decided I'm definitely going to have it. Even though I'm still somewhat apprehensive. X

That has nothing to do with what I just said.

That's a no then? OK.

With any luck what Vicky said about specific vaccines still bring available for those who can't have a certain one. That way nobody will be put at risk however unintentionally.

...I didn’t realise which thread this was and that there was a poll...so I went to look at what you were saying, Cherie and somehow I’d clicked unsure...just ignore me, I don’t need any conversion that just somehow happened on its own...

Not us having to pin Ammi down now as well as Nicky to have the jab

with all the social distancing, we have lost immunity on mass to all the usual bugs that circulate. I predict a bad winter for things that were previously trivial

It would be a great idea for as many as possible to get the flu jab this year tbh, I am bloody terrified about a very bad flu season, after we had 2 mild ones, then covid wiped the last one out totally...

Mine is tomorrow if you don't see me again it's because of my brain clot.

Though I don't actually know what "brand" I'm getting

You will be fine...the EU have just announced they do not see any indication it causes blood clots'
Its the same as anything...if you read the leaflet that comes with any medication...you would be worried about taking it.
