Is stopping the changing of the guard tomorrow because they are now practising funeral duty ~ could be just out of respect but its unusual.

I think its best that Meghan doesn't go tbh...Kate isn't there and with all the ill will I am sure the family will want to concentrate purely on the Queen and not face media speculation about whether there has been fisticuffs between the warring royals

Oh Kate isn't there either ? ,I didn't realise .. but it's because of the kids & school.

Yeah I hate when media make speculation about fights, so possibly . But the media will still be spinning something out of Meghan's absence ..no doubt .

Not heard anyone giving a toss, yet. So i dunno, hold back on the defence of her for the time being, anti royalist or not, the Queen is bigger than Meghan, and Harry, no matter what happens. History will remember the the Queen, they wont care a toss about Meghan, and Harry's place in history will be minimal.

Why would Meghan even be welcome in any case? All she has done for the past year is slate the royals. Her PR team need to give her some sound advice through this, and that's probably to keep her mouth shut on the matter, or a brief statement paying tribute. Don't get me wrong, im not really arsed about the Queen, but the Queen passing is bigger than Meghan. A lot of her supports will turn on her if she says something stupid on this one.

What exactly do you think Meghan will say now? , Her husband's grandmother is extremely ill with it being touch & go . You yourself said The Queen is bigger than all this.

And yet Meghan's absence is still causing people to make a fuss , shouldn't this be about The Queen ? . Funny how Andrew the invisible man gets less abuse .

Even as frail as she was The Queen was still trying to carry on with engagements etc .

Nobody else will reign for as long as her 70 years .

I think Prince Charles
should have dealt with the Prime Ministers

Could have left the Queen to rest more

Well over the past year or so ..other royal family members ie Princess Ann & William, have been dealing with some of The Queen's engagements , I remember seeing them do a few knighthoods etc. While The Queen was resting more.

But I think she tries to do as much as she can , maybe she wanted to still meet Truss as it's traditional. But we know how her health has declined recently, and in the latest images she looks very frail.

No, i was just giving my opinion. It wasn't even a criticism. Im not speculating on what she will and wont say. I don't "hate" Meghan, jeez. But as a celeb my judgement of her is not one of endearment. Just like i think other celebs are knobs. It doesn't go any deeper than that for me. Get a grip!

Anyway, lets just move on, i responded to your post about them digging, i felt it was a dig at Meghan, and i'll agree, if it was, it was uncalled for. My opinion on her and it as pretty clear. Lets just focus on the news at hand. I apologise for making it more than simply "is Meghan gonna be there or not"

It’s just a matter of respect … her detractors may have warmed to her slightly had she travelled to attend

It's a shame Kate isn't going, I'm sure she'd appreciate the whole family being there.
