Why do contestants get grief on strictly for 'previous dance experience' ??, when most celebs have danced a little in their careers .

Yet nobody seems to care when we get.... smooth almost professional skaters entering DOI ,who glide through the competition like a walk in the park . Some of us have NEVER set foot on the ice EVER in OUR lives ...me included, so i would be at a massive disadvantage.

I don't mind who has experience, either here or on Strictly.
So far I like Joey, Carly and Mollie.

The only one I'm 100 % sure about is Carly. She's way too fast to be a beginner. But I like her.

no one in DOI has past experience though, only if you're a celebrity sportsperson who been a ice hockey or speed skater for example
