I'm not following this either.

I said before whoever wins has an incredible hard act to follow.
I really don't care for any of these 3.

Sturgeon was the only Party leader in the UK I felt had some real gumption about her.

It now looks like the SNP will as with all the other Parties across the UK political set up, have to elect a poor leader from a very poor choice.
Very, very sadly.

That’s supposedly correct ..

I watched a documentary about this matter a while back .. apparently the NHS doesn’t need more money it just needs to use it effectively

All three SNP leadership candidates have predicted that Scotland can be an independent country within five years if they win the contest.

Ash Regan, Humza Yousaf and Kate Forbes were speaking as they faced each other in a BBC Scotland TV debate.

Mr Yousaf said he believed the country "can and will be" independent by 2028 in response to a question from an audience member.

Ms Regan and Ms Forbes both said they believed the same.

I wonder if ALL 3 would commit to resign as leader IF that wasn't to come to fruition.

Have they not looked at the recent polls, the percentage to stay in the UK has increased......

Humza Yousaf is the only real choice since he seems the most likely to carry on Nicola Sturgeon's legacy and goals. Kate Forbes is insane, will likely kowtow to tories, and harm rights of LGBT people. Regan calling JK Rowling a national treasure is a ****show (Which Kate Forbes did as well, but she's a ****show in general).

She's a painfully unaware moron taken in by extremism and right wing rhetoric. I read something she said recently in which she basically made out that trans people were like Death Eaters, and it was so embarrassing that she didn't realise that death eaters who believed that the circumstances of someone's birth matters above all else and would try to force that view on everyone was a trans allegory and not something more fitted to the gender critical movement as a whole.

She could have done wonderful things with her reach and wealth, and she chose to become a puppet.

Here's what she said:
The Death Eaters claimed, 'now is our time, and any who stand in our way must be destroyed. If you disagree with us, you must die.’ They demonized and dehumanized those who were not like them,” she explained.

I mean ... she's not wrong "TERFs" are seen as fair game.

Though I'd be interested to know what "right wing rhetoric" you think she's been saying. Are women's rights seen as extremist now?

She doesn't give a **** about women's rights. Pretty much every statement she ever makes about women's rights is laced with transphobia. She only cares as much about women's rights if she can use it as a shield for her hate.

When abortion bans came into effect in the USA, she remained completely silent, and only offered up a very short statement when directly asked about it. Before you say 'why would she need to say anything about US abortion issues?' She comments frequently on trans issues in the US. What she did say about abortion is immediately undercut by the fact she considers the likes of Caroline Farrow and Emma Nicholson as friends, among others. Caroline is a vehement opponent of both abortion rights and gay rights, Emma Nicholson previously only supported the idea of abortion if the child would be disabled or abortions in favour of eugenics. Outside of that criteria (which is ****ing insane, btw), she opposed the right of choice.

JK Rowling is such a big proponent of women that she considers Marilyn Manson a good friend, someone who has been accused for a fair few years at this point, of various sexual assaults against women.

The only time she comes out for women's rights is if it props up her hate of transpeople. Women's rights are not extreme, but there's a lot of extremists that are trying to hijack that cause to push their bigotry.

As for the Death Eater comparison. Transpeople aren't destroying people, they aren't trampling people, transpeople just want to exist without being ****ing hatecrimed, murderered and having their rights restricted. The GCs are the ones that want to stamp transpeople out, and then it'll be the other letters of the LGBT, and then their masters that pull their strings will turn on them too. You can't really look at the GCs and pretend that they aren't the death eaters in this comparison.

It's funny really, JK Rowling has said that Hermione was influenced by JK as a child, but the self insert character of HP isn't any of the three main characters, it's Dolores Umbridge.

I see you can't argue against what I'm saying so you pretend to disparage it by using an emote while actually offering nothing of value as a response.

Come back when you actually have something to say.

You are way beyond polite discourse. No one wishes to engage a rude aggressive person. I dont know if you have actual issues or are on medication but its a worry, for sure.

Abortion isn't a cut-and-dry issue, not "even" for feminists. Plenty are against the killing of unborn babies.

What would she have to do to save her from you revoking her Feminist Card? Would rescuing hundreds of female lawyers and their families from Afghanistan count? Or does saving women from the Taliban make her "islamophobic" ?

The SNP chief executive Peter Murrell has resigned with immediate effect in a row over party membership.

Mr Murrell, who is married to outgoing party leader Nicola Sturgeon, said he had become a distraction to the leadership race.

The party has been forced to confirm a large drop in its membership numbers, which it had previously denied.

Mr Murrell had been set to face a vote of no confidence had he not stepped down, the BBC understands.

Two leadership candidates, Kate Forbes and Ash Regan, have questioned the independence of the election process.

And on Friday, the SNP's head of media at Holyrood, Murray Foote, resigned, saying there were "serious issues" with statements he had issued in "good faith" on behalf of party headquarters.

A National Executive Committee source told the BBC Mr Foote had been "thrown under the bus" by Peter Murrell who accepted responsibility for a misleading statement about SNP membership numbers.

Mr Murrell has been chief executive of the SNP since 2000 and married to Ms Sturgeon since 2010.

In his resignation statement he said: "Responsibility for the SNP's responses to media queries about our membership number lies with me as chief executive.

"While there was no intent to mislead, I accept that this has been the outcome.

"I have therefore decided to confirm my intention to step down as chief executive with immediate effect."

He said he had not planned to step down until after the leadership contest but recognised that he had become "a distraction from the campaign".

"I have concluded that I should stand down now, so the party can focus fully on issues about Scotland's future," he said.

I don't follow Scottish politics, so I Googled him to see who he was. Yes, he's married to THAT WOMAN. Sorry but I always thought she was a lesbian. I guess I was wrong.

Any, her husband is only 58. Wow, he's had a hard milk round. He looks about 70. I guess being married to her explains it.
