The Penchant for spouting word salad etc is garbage. There are hundreds of people CT could have said that about why did she pick another African American women who polarises the community Very disappointed that so many in this thread are asking basic questions or making basic points.

Camilla T went there, I would think, because both women guarantee clicks; even more so paired together and she has to come up with something for her latest column. Besides, she isn’t a fan of either of them, I think. (There are white people she doesn’t like also.) ![]() Column sorted. Why does the colour of their skin even matter? |

Why does their skin colour matter. Ask the two GB news presenters or give it a little thought and you'll figure it out.

…I don’t know much about Kamala’s politics, I have to say…but visually and in her personality/persona that we see in public appearances etc…?…she’s just refreshingly vibrant…she has a great smile…

…Charli XCX has said that ‘Kamala is Brat’…that’s a good thing, right…?…/a compliment…?….and she’s also had supportive words from Beyoncé and Chappell Roan…

They're getting behind her. Even the progressives.

“The penchant for spouting word salad; the slightly awkward misplaced laughter; the courting of chat show hosts; the celebrity iPhone moments; the loathing of Donald Trump; the unfortunate bullying allegations. And the rhetoric! Both Meghan and Kamala spout this sort of pseudo-spiritual psychobabble that sounds perfectly progressive but doesn’t always make that much sense.” The word salad- Gareth Southgate. ![]() Courting chat shows - Amy Klobuchar. She loves going on Seth Myers show The iPhone moments - Taylor Swift Hatred of Trump - Taylor Swift again. Bullying accusations - Ellen Degeneres The rhetoric - Kari Lake but its not progressive. The point I've been trying to make in this thread. Yes, if we put together a number of very specific and unpleasant traits then VP Harris and Meghan have some things in common but if we stand back look at them as individuals they have nothing in common except the obvious.

Apart from that: Kamala is running for President, Meghan has apparently expressed a desire to one day run for President (haha), or at least become seriously involved in US politics. They have expressed support for each other more than once in the past. But no, the one and only link is their skin colour. Really? Why does the mind zoom in on race? |

Stick to copy and pasting. You show us something you don't want to when you post your own opinions.

![]() ![]() Stick to copy and pasting., You reveal too much when you post your own opinions. What am I on about? You've been on this forum for well over a decade posting about race and its clear, to me, that you haven't listened or taken on board a word anyone has said to you. That's what you're revealing when you post your own words. Asian-Jamaican-American. Unless you're trolling, all I can say is - what the actual **** mate. Astonishing

DEI hire is a racist trope, everyone knows it, LT knows it. I can see many similarities to JD Vance

listen LT, i will make this very clear so you understand. I won't let you get away with your racist **** unchallenged anymore. Enough is enough. If the mods are ok with the disgusting stuff you post, I am not. If that leads to me being banned, so be it, make it permanent.

You know DEI is being used as a racist trope. You echo racist tropes all over this forum. Do you know what that makes YOU?

1) Whether the mods are OK with it behinfmd the scenes or not I don't know, but I do know they won't do anything about it no matter how often it's called to their attention Hiwever On the plus side 2) The same applies to calling it out, so I wouldn't worry about doing so and would in fact encourage everyone to do it as loudly and rudely as possible. Power to the people. |
