This is a terrible tragedy

They Started the Fire with candles on bottles.

Also the flames went up the stairs that get you out
it was panic of young folks climbing over bodies

Some good fella opened another top exit

So many very young teenagers, in a bar alone. Seems like there are no fire inspections there, and no ID checking.

Avoidable tragedy if only they had taken any notice of health and safety rules, I expect they will face a huge legal challenge by the families of the deceased

Have they actually broken any health and safety rules (bearing in mind it’s Switzerland) apart from the sparklers? Surely they would have had inspections over the years for the building that would have flagged up if so?

They say they have been inspected, but one exit out? and then we don't know if there were a cap on the numbers that should have been in the bar

I read a report today the male owner had previously been jailed for fraud,kidnapping ad pimping, health and safety might not be his top priority
