A few years ago he was also suffering [he must have been a little kid then.] and thought ahead to Big Brother 9? years and years away? and it helped him want to carry on? The thought of a tv programme made his life worth living? despite the so called suffering he's going through?

Have you any idea how wrong that sounds?

But now he wants to go and watch Big Brother in a better place? such as heaven? on his widescreen tv held up in mid air by angels I assume?

Sorry but, if you're taking this seriously then you're far too nice for your own good.

Im literally witnessing people rushing to the defense of a total stranger who has previously broken the rules, who is quite clearly manipulating everybody into making this a "SAY NICE THINGS TO HIM ONLY, NASTY PEOPLE GET OUT!" thread, which instantly proves this is a "make him feel better and give him lots of nice attention" topic =]

Which rests mine and others cases.
Even he has told everyone else to leave so that only nice people can cheer him up and give him lots of positive attention about his near death experience.

I didn't realise depressive suicidals were usually in the frame of mind to give out orders.

Anyway, if he's telling the truth then he'll be dead later on no matter what we say.

If he stays, he'll obviously announce that the forum helped convince him life was worth living again and he thought he'd stick around for us all. Only im sure he'll be breaking rules and creating yet another attention seeking topic a week or two later with something like "My dogs missing, I want to die" or "I have to go shopping with my mum, it's so embarrassing, im going to kill myself"

Two equally as ridiculous statements on par with "I have a school trip, death is the only option"

Some of you are complete ***** and I hope you never have to deal with depression either with yourself or with a loved one. Depression takes all forms and can come and go. Mood changes can happen in an instant. It is a chemical imbalance in the brain that can affect any of us, even you Vine6 at any time with out any warning. Try educating yourself on the subject before inferring that they should just snap out of it.

Most suicide bids are a cry for help. They do not really want to die but it is the only way they can find to get help as they can't speak to loved ones for one reason or another.

"Also, to those offering him concern and sympathy, try to take in the fact you may well be offering it to a boy who's purely doing this for that reason, hence he's played you for a fool and took advantage of your kind/unsuspcious nature."

And? What has it cost us? **** all. If this is a joke I will not feel stupid or used but if it is real then I know I am a better human being for trying to help than some of you pricks. There are sites you can go to that major in hate if that is your thing.

Flava, I don't know you. I have never read any of your other posts so I am not going to pre judge you.

There is obviously an underlying problem here. And whether it is problem at school, home, or elsewhere, there is help. The fact that you have posted here, where you feel you could means you are half way to talking about it. So please take that next step.

You can call Childline, that is not just for abused children but for teens with any problems. They will tell no one. You don't have to give your name, phone number, address, nothing you do not want to give. They will not trace your call, pass anything on to anyone else unless you ask them to. The same goes for the Samaritans. These people are trained to help people like you. No mater what your problems are. Even if you feel no one can help, what have you got to lose? Please, give them a call.

That's all I can say really. Things can, and will get better if you let people in to help you.

Excuse me Retroman, your making some good points there, but if it's the case that FF is telling the truth, he really doesn't need it made worse by us all. If you don't have any good advice for the member, I think it's best to leave the thread.

What people are saying is, you don't go to a forum to tell people about your wish to die, they can't help you.

You go to someone you can talk to, a teacher, a close friend, they can help you. I know

Note - if this user was to commit suicide the police would checked the users computer records which it would lead them to TiBB and to this thread.

The next step would be for them to look at the post and the police would try and workout if anything anyone has said has made the problem worse. They would then ask us for the details of any users that they felt contributed to the suicide so they could trace the users and prosecute.

This is not a joking mater.

Addressing this thread in a serious context, it is natural to feel as if everything's overwhelming you at this age. I feel like that often. Remember though that it is natural, and you're not alone in the way you feel. Suicidal is probably a bit extreme, but you've got to remember it'll pass.

Even if you think everyone else is coping much better than you, in reality that's not true. This is your life and you've got to make the most of it! Telling everyone on a forum, for example, isn't the best way to go about things - having said that, it would help if you told somebody you feel close to! Or, wrote it down maybe to let out your feelings.

Good luck with it, but remember that at the end of the day it doesn't help to sit around and mope - it's better to go ahead and do something about how you're feeling! Which includes telling someone and trying to be as positive as possible about things.
