OK PJ, I may have found a solution for your date problem.

Go into the "Edit Profile" section of your user control panel, and find the section where you can edit the date format. It is just above the part where you change your avatar

If "dd-mm-yyyy" is NOT entered in this field, enter it, and click "Edit Profile" at the bottom.

Does this fix it?
