Theres no way he stole hicks material, he would have been blacklisted for that, that just doesn't happen. He is also a completely different comedian to hicks, o leary was angry. You should, if you han't already, read hicks biography, his remarks about o leary are very enlightening.

Nothing in excess

I guess I'll have to agree to disagree with Stu over Stewart Lee. There's something really effortless about his shows I really love. He is probably my favourite comedian next to Paul Merton.
I'll be honest though and say I'm generally not crazy about stand-up comedians. The genuinely good ones are few and far between. Some of my most hated are Jimmy Carr, Bernard Manning, Roy Walker, Jim Davidson, Al Murray and Eddie Izzard. As for Hicks, well I admire him. Like him? I'm not so sure.
