2.7m (12%) watched last night, not including +1
the share is so low, thats the worrying thing
I'm not surprised it was so low because the opinion on the launch was very mixed, people who did watch last night seem to be liking it a little more and word of mouth will build it up throughout next week

Hopefully the +1 will bring it over 3m.
I hope word of mouth increases the ratings because i know loads of even forum members that said they did not watch it on DS, but after the LF last night, they said they will tonight because they have a feeling it will be a decent series.

Everyone spread the news!!! Tell your family and friends!! lol

5 Minute breakdown (Source IBB)
21:00 2.26m … 21:05 2.63m
21:10 2.77m … 21:15 2.54m
21:20 2.76m … 21:25 2.99m
21:30 2.97m … 21:35 2.73m
21:40 3.09m … 21:45 2.86m
21:50 2.70m … 21:55 2.47m

Good peak and +1 should bring it above 3million

Wow this is so bad ! Worst than I expected. So yeah I was right, this is going to be a flop once again. I mean, first week ratings are generally high and then drop but now it's very low.

Thing is... I never bothered to watch highlights show yesterday because I watched the Live Launch and it just shows them going in... which I already saw. Maybe others did that.

I reckon it will build, I don't think 3m is catastrophic... it isn't as great as BB5, but it beats loads of other shows.

I think it will get better ratings tonight because of the bad weather and its a show which wont be repeating most of what people have already seen. Also a lot of people who were negative after the launch are liking the show more after watching last nights show which could help tonight
I think a 3.1million (inc +1) average tonight

BB5 didn't do so well at the start anyway, neither did CBB5. Both had a pivotal point of controversy around them to boost the ratings for the rest of the series.

I think its unfair to compare 5.1 to 2.7 anyway. One is without C4+1 so either its fair to say last night got 3-3.2m with +1 or just isolate C4 launch figures alone (4.8m) meaning the drop isn't as big as people seem and is only a little bit more than most years. And using a similar show Hells Kitchen had a big launch, lost half of its audience then built it all back up again by the end in a similar situation to what BB is in (minimal coverage, no streaming). I wouldn't write it off just yet.

Tonight probably won't do that well anyway because its Saturday, so probably about 2.4m.

Even though it was a Saturday its an awful rating
Its the share which is really bad. 11% is just awful for a big show
It will be interesting to see if it bounces back tonight for the live show in the later time slot

With these ratings, i dont think you can enjoy it, if it goes under 2m, they will axe it mid series.

Theres no way C4 will axe the show mid-series even if does go under 2million
I can't think of 7.5hours of programming a week which will do aswell as Big Brother for 13 weeks at such short notice.
I don't care about the ratings anymore, i'm just enjoying the series and this excellent bunch of housemates.

1.5 million after a month is what I suggested. Who's laughing at me now?

Hmm my series average prediction of 2.7m is looking mighty optimistic. I believe that we are now witnessing the last BB on C4.
