LOVESTRUCK Sally finally confesses her feelings to teacher John * and is left mortified when he knocks her back!

Imagine what she would do if she knew he was already involved with her teenage daughter?

Sally is flattered by the amount of time that John has been spending teaching her at the Webster house * and wrongly assumes that this means he shares her feelings.

“If anybody even smiles at Sally, she is smitten for a while,” laughs Sally Whittaker, who plays her namesake. “She really thinks John feels the same.” As the week begins, Rosie fakes illness so she can stay home while Sally, Sophie and Chesney go bowling for Sophie’s 13th birthday.

Instead, the naughty schoolgirl invites John over. She greets him with a kiss and is about to lead him to the bedroom when Sally, Sophie and Chesney come back.

Sally is delighted to find John there and convinces herself that he is making excuses to see her.

The next day, during one of their lessons, Sally bites the bullet and tells him that she has fallen for him.

“Sally pours everything out,” says the actress. “But John tells her he isn’t interested and she feels embarrassed and stupid.” Rosie is shocked when John later tells her about Sally’s confession. Will the young temptress keep quiet?

Meanwhile, gutted Sally is forced to bury her feelings for the teacher. But just how would she react if she knew what her hero was up to with her 16-year-old daughter?

“Sally would be livid,” admits Sally. “Rosie is her precious daughter and John is someone she admires.

“The thought of them being together would be too much for Sally. I’m sure it’ll come out eventually * and I can’t wait.” Although Sally is crushed to be rejected, the actress is pleased she isn’t embarking on another affair.

“I hope Sally and Kevin don’t split up again,” says Sally. “I don’t want to go down the affair line once more. I think I have done enough of that.

“Move over Sally, maybe it’s time for Rosie to get the action!”
