I love this year's contest. Or more specifically, the first semi final, because last night was revolting.
I was at the "Israel Calling" event in Tel Aviv last month and I enjoyed it a lot, it was a huge celebration.

My faves:
Israel - I really hope we win this. I absolutely adore Netta and the song is good enough to deserve it. It's just amazing the impact she had in Israel on ESC. Up until this year no one could care less about talking about or watching the contest, and her performance's viewing figures on Tuesday has peaked at 40%. Madness.
Cyprus - Really catchy and Eleni is a brilliant performer. I wish her best of luck... in second place :P
Slovenia - She was the opening act in Tel Aviv and it was nothing but fun. So glad she has made it.
Belgium - Ugh, how did we miss it?! Brilliant song. She's the main victim of Tuesday's bloodbath. Sennek is wonderful.
Czech Rep - The lyrics are nauseating but the instrumental chorus is good. Mikolas can come across as a bit arrogant in his performance which can be quite off putting.
Portugal - they haven't performed yet but it's SUCH a beautiful little song and I could almost understand it all. It deserves a good place.

And no, there's no problem with hosting ESC in Israel, to those who again are influenced by the same wrong impression that there's about Israel. It's not a war zone, it's not a desert, it's not a third world country, it's most western place you could find in the Middle East, and considering I've been to more terror attacks in London than in Israel, I generally beg to differ.
We have just had a week ago the opening of Giro d'Italia and it went great.
And yes, we'll have the budget for it.

but in the final well i support Italy, cause of their anti-terrorism message and i love fabrizio's sexy edgy voice, the guy with the tattoo's


from last night i liked Denmark, Moldova

Hungary was awful, just noise
