This was the VAR used at the world cup. Our refs rejected the opportunity to use this clear method, in order to keep giving themselves wiggle room to tip the scales.



VAR allows us to see the corruption in plain sight, removing it doesn't help anyone, because it works perfectly well in the other competitions. It's just our UK refs that seem to have other intentions.

Well I noticed that VAR works extremely well and fast in La Liga ..

Shame the refs are so against my beloved Barca though ..

Imagine Liverpool getting pipped for the league title I by 1 point !

Why not give Liverpool the goal and a draw

If Spurs won’t accept the correctly amended result then they should suggest that they REPLAY the whole game … then Spurs will accept the draw ..

Why are they allowing the 4pm football slot go to women’s football !?

This could be a dangerous precedent ..
Unless they know the viewing figures are gonna be low as they’re competing against the end of the Ryder Cup and all the celebrations ?

Agree. People are talking about corrupt refs. TBH for so many people to get such a simple decision wrong you have to ask.

That 2009 Chelsea vs Barcelona game is probably one of the most corrupt games of football I’ve ever watched. I’m glad they got redemption a few seasons later.

Liverpool have vowed to "explore the range of options available" after claiming sporting integrity was undermined after Luis Diaz's goal was ruled out against Tottenham for what the PGMOL described as "significant human error".

Seriously though I actually think that this incident is momentous !!

Just imagine if that was the last day of the season and Liverpool were playing for the title … a simple apology would not suffice then and it can’t suffice now either

I feel they will give Liverpool a point or replay the game

Maybe just the obvious ones like this offside ..

Imagine if Liverpool lose the title by one point now .. their legal team will have a field day claiming for lost earnings / lost potential earnings etc etc

My dream is for all football fans to protest by staying away from games until VAR is removed. If they did then they would also have more money in their pockets to spend on having a good Christmas for themselves and maybe an extra holiday abroad.
