Reality TV has sunk low in the past with it's winners, but not many of them can claim to be as bad as Matt's actions imo.

Mock it's predictable every year lol , sure there's sometimes the shock elimination/ or surprising coaster who makes it through. Or there's some slight variations. But more or less ... the final 4 can usually be seen a mile off .

I'm 90% sure Hancock is getting the BOOT in Saturday's show , and he will finish in fourth place. I honestly predicted this for a while... so i'm not surprised he's made it to the cyclone . I guess he'll see that as an achievement and take it as the public 'loving him/forgiving him ' .

Also despite his gaining new popularity, he's still nowhere near as popular /liked as Jill , Mike & Owen.

Tbf I agree with you that IAC has a formula that you can kind of see through after watching it for awhile.

And being fair, a fourth place finish wouldn't be bad for someone like Hancock.

Apparently yesterday morning Owen was the favourite ( one day only ) but now Jill is back as favourite with Hancock second favourite !

Even if he does win, he'll be winning a year where the Show is pulling in less viewers than the franchise average, so it's not the biggest endorsement.

And I know last year rated lower, but both Series have rated below the franchise average.

And tbh in the long term I'll be interested to see where the trashy route will take IAC, because the trashy path killed BB in the end in terms of mass appeal.

Edit... Okay I stand corrected on the ratings front.

I do honestly think that the trashy route will be the end of IAC long term though.

I agree rustic. It must be killing the others as to why he's still there, lol, and should he win the meltdowns will be epic, I'm happy he's got this far and I thought he explained quite clearly how ministers were picked etc, it's unknown to them all, trouble with people they think it's a simple job and they know better, it's clearly not, I think he's been a decent housemate

Well i hope this is the last one ever ! its formula has had it . Its very boring and i have no doubt had Matt Hancock not entered the viewing figures would have been through the foor.

If that is as far as he goes, he’s exceeded all expectations and I’m sure he’ll be happy with that. The media are totally confused as to how he got this far as are a lot of people and it’s quite funny.

I'd love him to win, but I guess it’s Jill for the crown then? the usual kind of winner. Now that we see more of her I’m finding her quite dull and I’m indifferent to her; I don’t get the ‘hilariously funny’ thing.
Owen is still playing ‘hungry boy’ and laying on the “I’m thick'' act and Mike is as miserable looking and boring as ever.
Thank goodness for Matt this season, he MADE the entire series watchable.

He has done so well to get this far and the support will mean so much to him. I agree with you...people have no idea.
He seems just a really nice guy and I am delighted for him.

I totally agree Jet...Jill is witty but as you say quite dull. Owen acts like a 5 year old and its tiresome and pathetic and Mike is as you say miserable, he constantly looks bored and clearly would rather be anywhere else...
Matt has made the series...I would love him to win but even if he takes 4th place he is a winner...

Well that's the thing.

How are they gonna one up this Matt Hancock situation? I see this Show trying and it backfiring on them, but I also understand that if the Producers don't try, then the people that do like this new era of IAC will call it boring and probably tune out of the Show.
