Technically a trophy is better, but I assure you Liverpool fans had the most exciting season to watch out of any club. Just like last time we finished 2nd, saw the team score 4 against Real Madrid, Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal take entertainment like that over anything.

There is no entertainment to throwing a title away and finishing second. Give me that ****ty last season under Moyes over "AGUEROOOO" any day of te week. Absolutely soul crushing that was.

Good thing we experienced 34 games of entertainment beforehand. Just being able to dream was nice.

As painful as it was to lose out on the title, it feels amazing that we've got out of the 4-5 seasons of mediocrity.

Give it 4 years and you'll understand.

No need to worry about that any longer, we have inflicted heavier pain on City by pretty much eliminating them from the International Champions Cup, they won't recover from this for a long time

I love Quintero, If these rumours are true then it'll be an amazing signing.. Such a good young player. Would suggest Sanchez has been bought to fit the striker role too.

Apparently we are in for Konoplyanka again. Not sure we really need another attacking mid but he'll most likely cost less than £10m this time around, so why not I suppose

"It's real possibility that Juan Fernando Quintero play with Arsenal. It would be coming to London on Monday. Wish is realized."

Does all seem a bit iffy though.. pretty reliable person reporting it but its the position we least need to strengthen unless Santi does leave but i refuse to let myself believe there's a chance he will.

Liverpool FC are closing in on a double swoop for Spanish full-backs Alberto Moreno and Javier Manquillo.

The Reds have reopened talks with Sevilla over left-back Moreno and are confident their summer-long pursuit of the Spain international will finally reach a successful conclusion.

A deal for Atletico Madrid right-back Manquillo is at a more advanced stage with Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre having flown to the Spanish capital to complete the transfer.

At lasttttttttttttttttttttttttt. Moreno for around the £20m mark and Manquillo on a 2 year loan with an option to buy, I believe. Defence. Finally. Sorted.

Wenger confirming Quintero is BS, Campbell will stay at the club & is part of his plans, Vermaelen could leave, refused to comment on Khedira and said he'll be active in the market until deadline day.. Great stuff.

I don't know if Hangeland is a good or bad signing for Palace, he was pretty shocking last season
