Sam is no great loss to Dexter, I am sure Dexter will have many friends. Sam always apearred to behave like a spoilt little brat anyway, imho. One of the worst winners ever of BB, if not the worst, and no amount of gloating by any of his fans on twitter and facebook for example, will make me change my mind. However, Sam won and we have to accept that, but his winning imo was mostly down to a combination of the Welsh vote, sympathy votes, plus obviously true fan votes. Dexter even with his huge fanbase was never going to be able to compete with that once it went to positive voting. Sam won yes, but to me it is a hollow victory for the reasons I have mentioned, but Dexter and even Gina were the stars of this BB, and so on a positive note, I am happy for him and against all odds that he got runner up and on his own merits, not by any sympathy votes etc; so WTG! Dexter and his fanbase. I thought Gina would pip him at the post and that he would come third, so was pleasantly surprised that he did better than third placing

The more we get to know about Sam, the more he seems like a yobbish bellend.

Sam will soon be forgotten. I doubt they'll even bother to use him on BOTS etc. But I'm sure we'll see a lot more of the runner-up!

Often the way that those who do not win are more successful.... sometimes hugely so: X-Factor and One Direction spring to mind.

You are absolutely right. A few BB examples are runner up Anna BB1 did well, Nick BB2 did well, Adele BB3 did well, as did Alex for a while, and also Jade. Jon from BB4, and Nikki, Imogen and Grace BB7, to name but a few, none of them the winners, but all going on to do well after BB.

I honestly can'#t see much that Sam can do after BB. Dexter has the personality though to go on to do some media work ie: TV, radio even?

Always looked to me like Sam was the one who never gave Dexter a chance, not the other way round. Can't remember ever seeing Dexter be nasty about Sam, but I do remember Sam nitpicking often about Dexter and calling Dexter a dickhead/bellend on several occasions throughout the series. That is when he wasn't sleeping.

I just have the feeling that access to what to Sam is an enormous amount of money could be the worst thing that has ever happened to him.

As had been said elsewhere, winning a modest amount on another game show seems to have changed him.... and not for the better.

It really was..i genuinely thought when he said down he'd say he was playing a massive game and once those doors opened he went back to the real him : a very eccentric gay man lol
