 8/10 bit of a weird one really, its genre is messed up, hybrid of like 3 or 4. reminds me of kill bill first 20-40 minutes i thought it was going to turn out to be a load of crap but got better and better and lynsey fonseca nearly gave me a bon on in a couple of parts

My Little Eye- Very confusing. Its a mix between Big Brother, a bit of Hostel going on with the bidding, and Blair Witch Project. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone personally. I only watched it because there was nothing else on.

Brilliant,had me laughing one minute and crying the next. Plus it had the most random cast! Susan from Friends,Frasier's dad,Steve Carell,Emily Blunt and a VERY random apperance from Mr. Schue!

Fast and Furious (2009)
Great film. Good to see the old cast back, although its not as good as the first (due to not really being about modding cars).. but it has a good story line, and Vin is a beast in it just throws people around like they are paper..

The Taking of Pelham 123.
Passable enough thriller which amazingly enough benefits from Tony Scott's frenetic style of filmmaking, where a rather run-of-the-mill storyline with barely any action scenes of note is brought to life with his fast editing style, creating much more energy and tension, rather than the opposite, which is usually the case with his flicks because they are quite often overloaded with set pieces and thereby suffer from overkill. And what is it about Denzel Washington that makes him so watchable, even in mediocre stuff like this? |
