Thanks for confirming my thoughts , that no matter what you see MM as the spawn of Satan & Hancock as a 'nice guy' .

But can't you see that your preconceived views taint the way you will ever look at her and she would never be given a chance? The same way some people who lost their loved ones in the pandemic view the Gov of the day (rightly or wrongly) and so why some people have difficulty in separating the Matt camp mate to the Matt politician who has been found to have breached ministerial code, his own guidelines and lied in his recent past?

Meghans actions have had no direct impact in anyone's lives outside of family (and those who she allegedly bullied if that is the case), the Government's actions did directly impact every single one of our lives, in both good and bad ways and those who were impacted the worst will have very strong views on the Government ministers who were making the decisions.

I judge people on what I see….it’s really that simple.

Anyway you still haven’t answered my question….it wasn’t difficult.

No, because if Markle was in the jungle and was really lovely and kind and seemed genuine and was being bullied it would soften my view of her, but I believe that would be unlikely as she has never came across that way to date.
Matt does come across as lovely and kind and genuine....the first time we are seeing his actual 'not a politician' personality. Like Rusti said, we can only judge what we see...

So it would only soften your view if she was being bullied?

We can only judge what we see, which is why I have said there are 2 Matts.....you don't believe meghan would be genuine which is your absolute right to have that opinion, but others could see Matt in a very different light. We are seeing 20 minutes edited highlights in a day, ITV have faced massive backlash to putting him in and so could be (note could, nor are) showing him only favourably so they don't have even more bad press

Who knows, its a tv show and its aim is to get people talking....and its sure done that.

Still don't think he's being bullied though

Her actions have an impact on how our Royal Family is viewed by more people as racist and all kinds of horrible with her blatant lies. She had an impact on our Queen’s health (with Harry).
People have the right to feel any way they do, as do I. It is my view that people are WRONG to blame Government ministers making the decisions. They got some things wrong, they got some things right. Totally understandable in an unprecedented and extremely difficult situation.
I watched a short clip yesterday of the Queen telling Boris she had been talking to Matt Hancock and how she really felt for him in the awful situation he was in….

That is your opinion and you are very much entitled to it.....just as people who DO blame the Government and have had their lives impacted massively have the right to their opinion.

Your point about the Royals highlights exactly what I said though, it doesn't impact anyone but them whereas the handling of the pandemic affected us all.

Which those who just want to criticize have never alluded to. How many more loved ones could have died?

Yes, I said they had a right to feel as they do, but I honestly don’t understand how they can heap blame on fallible human beings. To me, that is cruelty. But nobody is going to change their minds, so….

The Royals - It doesn’t just impact the family. Look at the reaction to the Jubilee and the Queen’s death which shows the Royal institution is a loved and important part of our country and it matters how it is viewed by many people. It matters to fans of the Royals and the sterling work they do, and all while the Queen was alive to see the damage that was being done and her life’s work being undermined.
It’s your opinion it affects only them, others have a right to feel it doesn’t just affect them.

How has it directly impacted anyone though?
Did anyone lose their lives? Did anyone lose their livelihoods? Did anyone lose the chance to say goodbye to dying lived ones? No. That is the direct impact I am talking about. Look at the Jubilee.....Meghans words has not inpacted the popularity at all, in fact quite possibly the opposite.

Did I say different? Which ever Gov was in at the time would have faced criticism, I've always said that. You point to me to somewhere where I have said specifically that it was this Gov and this Gov alone. Let's not be silly now LT and try and point score, because you'll not find any references to where I have said any different.. Keep trying though.

Anyway, this has moved so far away from I'm a Celeb its embarrassing now. Matt the camp mate has been a great addition. The rest I've made abundantly clear. Jill to win

They are 2 totally different issues obviously, and I didn't bring Meghan into the picture in the first place....

Meghan's words (and Harry's) has impacted the popularity of the Monarchy in parts of the USA and some Commonwealth countries - the problems Kate and William encountered on their tour last year was directly related to Meghan saying the family were racist. I posted proof of that at the time.

Anyway, we are way off topic, so if you agree to do so, lets get back on track.
