Oooooooh, I say! Did YOU know there was a film called 'Kiss of Death', starring Victor Manure (as he was always affectionately known in our house......)

Not a lot of people know that..........

ROB you really are the font of all knowledge - is there any end to your grasp of all things trivial.

Evening all!

It seems to be quite quiet
And Boris is still here
But still the threat of kidnap
Is one she has to fear

So we must stay on guard
Until the danger's past
Only then will I achieve my mission
Of my post being the last.

(Oh yes it WILL! )

Well, I think on the dawn of a new big brother we need to salute the sterling work of this particular thread, and all the stalwarts who supported it.

Glad to see that Maggie seems to have had a good night's sleep

This thread has kept us going through the dark times, through the desert of the later inter-reality months. We did not falter. We held firm. We battened down our hatches, and we weathered the storm. We dug in, and when necessary, we garnered our reserves of strength and went over the top and faced the enemy......

Never before have so many been so indebted to the actions of so few.

This isn't the end. It isn't the beginning of the end, but it is the end of the beginning.

We will watch them in the morning, we will watch them in the evening. We will watch them through the dark and lonely hours of the night......

I can promise you nothing but food drink, chikens and rows.

This is our finest hour.

There may be some who wish it was not on, but

What's he that wishes so?

The Mirror says it were not good, and will have none

If we are mark'd to watch, we are enough

To keep the vigil clear; and if it's live,

The longer that we watch, the greater knowledge that we have.

God's will! To like it, wish not one man more.

By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,

Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;

It yearns me not if laugh at my expense;

Such outward things dwell not in my desires:

But if it be a sin to covet more,

I am the most offending soul alive.

No, faith, my coz, wish not another convert

God's peace! I would not lose so great an honour

As one man more, methinks, would share from me

For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!

Rather proclaim it, TIBB-ers, through our host,

That he which hath no stomach to this sight,

Let him depart; his passport shall be made

And crowns for convoy put into his purse:

We would not watch in that man's company

That fears his fellowship to watch with us

This day is called the first of Big Brother

He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,

Will stand a tip-toe when this day is named,

And rouse him at the name of Big Brother.

She that shall live this day, and see old age,

Will, yearly on the vigil, feast her neighbours,

And say “To-morrow is Big Brother.”

Then will she show the beers stains on the carpet,

And say “These stains I got on final day.”

Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,

But she’ll remember, with advantages,
What feats she did that day.

Then shall their names,

Familiar in her mouth as household words -
Nick the Nasty,
Bubble and Dean,
Helen and Paul,
Spencer and Jade-

Be in their flowing cups freshly remembered.

This story shall the good woman teach her son;

And Big Brother shall ne’er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in they shall be rememberéd -

We few, we happy few, we band of TIBB-ers;

For he today that watches it with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile*,

This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now at work

Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,

And hold their manhoods cheap whilst any speaks

That watched with us upon Big Brother day................

Curses, foiled again!

Some day surely my time will come
For there really can be only one
To bring this thread to a dignified end
It is my mission for Boris, my friend.

Hello, Boris!

Lucky you having a week's holiday - I have to make do with a measly one day public holiday on Monday! Still, it means one more day to get to know the new BB housemates!

If you are planning a trip, though - you could pick far worse places to visit than Bonnie Scotland.

Good to see you're still safe and well - no sign recently of those pesky renegades Bunty and Floss.

Never mind me - poor, poor Boris!

Everyone too engrossed in the start of BB4 to notice that you were left at the end of this thread.

But never fear
For I am here
I'll be your saving grace
And take over last place.

Now that BB4 is in play, is it not time for Kaz to make her final post and lock the thread. It has fulfilled its purpose and now itis time for it to fade into the archives of TiBB

What do you think, my faithful TiBB Barmy Army?

Should I make a post and then lock the thread

Or should I tell Sticks to stop being a big party poop?

You decide ..........................

Oh Boris! I don't want do do that - honest I dont. I'd quite happily carry on this thread until my fingers drop off!

As Magnus Magnusson so eloquently said ...... 'I've started so I'll finish'. It's when I finish that's open to question.

Well, Barmy Army - what do you think? Remember, if your decision causes Boris untold upset, you'll have to live with that on your consciences for a very long time!

Over to you .....................

Listen, just let me know if you want me to stop!

I mean, no one appreciated my soliloquy (?)to BB yesterday morning, but I am not disheartened

I will soldier on until told otherwise.

In fact, I could end up like THIS GUY!!
