Last summer we had European football and failed with our main transfer targets? The problem is Woodward is in a job he shouldn't be in.

If we offered big wages, a lack of European football would mean nothing to a lot of top players.

It's not even Woody tbh. He's just the Glazer yes man. We've generally been ****ty in the market considering all the record sporting revenues we generate. I think it's clear our spending power isn't what it is really "supposed" to be.

I think it is Woodward. We've spent almost £110 million in the last year. I believe there is money to spend, but Woodward is useless. This isn't what his job is meant to be after all.

From the moment we topped the sporting revenue table and sold Ronaldo and yet only signed Valaneica & Owen I have kind of accepted this is how the club is being run. Throw in the fact we ****ed up signing Hazard(I believe he will be player of the year this season) due to being cheap on the agent fee and it shows we were pretty ****ty even before Woody

We've spent big though. We spent big in the summer of 2011, spent a decent amount in the summer of 2012 given we only lost the league on GD.

Hazard was being a complete dick. All year he'd changed his mind on where he'd love to play. In the end his wages were ridiculous, and even City dropped out. Agent fee large also. Then shortly after his brother signs for Chelsea, no doubt part of Hazard picking Chelsea over any other team.
At the time I was glad we didn't sign him as he was being such a prick. Looking back, I wish we'd spent whatever it took.

Money is there, I think. We've shown it this last year. Andy Mitten, probably the most reliable United source, says we've found it hard to actually spend money. No doubt because Ed is clueless.

The Mirror are reporting that Falcao is desperate to leave France and Madrid won't be signing him, and we are interested in taking him on loan for the season.

Probably won't happen but it's a relief to hear something like this and not something about Eto'o again.
