Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That is why this thread was created.

This thread was created to pose the question of eating meat. You are posing a different question. You are saying we are wild. This is wrong. We are not. There is no opinion in fact. I have already proved to you how we are not wild. In fact, I cant believe I have to. I am thinking you just have nothing else to argue hence why you made that post, to try and salvage something.

Let's pose another question then. Do you think the vid in the OP should be shown to kids?? Or what age do you think? Should we shelter them from where their meat comes from?

Either way i can't do it, I drop weight extremely quickly as it is without meat id look terrible wouldnt be able to gain too much size or muscle.

Tuna
Chicken
Mince

Are very important.

Ohhh and even my cat can tell the difference between Quorn and meat.

Quorn is decent, but its not meat. Im picky with food and I can just tell, there is that after taste which isnt satisfying. Plus they don't make quorn steaks haha, and if they did it wouldn't have that lovely stringy falling apart texture.

Some people need to get a grip and realise there are other opinions in the world other than yours, some people like meat and some people aren't upset at the fact it came from a living thing. Get over it. It is not murder because if it was murder everyone would be locked up... its a fact of life that we eat meat, it is natural to us... always has been and always will be. Our body requires meat to survive, obviously now with quorn and other stuff it is made possible to not need meat... but without technology you would be unhealthy not eating it.

My reason for eating meat? I really enjoy it, there is nothing more I enjoy than meat, steak, chicken, fish, lamb, pork... I like it all. If I enjoy it then I am going to do it... it is a free country.

Fom,Quorn do like EVERYTHING,steaks and all. But I've been told the only things that taste like meat are the mince and the chicken burgers. I don't remember what meat tastes like. As I said before I don't mind people eating meat as long as they don't think I should. It's a nice idea that everyone could be veggie but it's never gonna happen so no point trying to convince everyone to do it :P

Haha, I have had quorn mince before... it was alright. You could tell that it was getting there, but me being a weirdo could just tell, there was that slight thing missing. But if you have forgot what meat tastes like then I can understand how much you think it tastes like meat because its close. I am exactly the same as you, I have nothing against vegetarians as long as people don't throw it on me
I even want to try out being a vegetarian just as an experience, I could never do it because I love meat. But I still want to try it for a bit!

Woo for us being sensible You should, just for a go. A lot of people are silly though and go cold turkey(lol),I gave up a different meat every few weeks to phase it out,so it took me a good few months to become a veggie which was kinda easier for me.

Yes. I know. And then I gave you all the arguments and evidence to suggest we are not wild. Which we are not. Now your just going in circles. You don't have an argument. We are not wild. The proof is both in front of you and under your fingers, as well as everything I have stated.

We ARE wild! we are free to roam about and do what ever we please.

We are not locked up into farms and and zoos so therefore we are wild.

No. What you are describing is called freedom. Being wild is functioning entirely self sufficient on a system of instincts.

Did you catch your dinner today? No. Society provided it for your. Your argument is incredibly weak. It's blatantly obvious. We are not wild.

Meat is not murder! Meat is delicious!

I love animals... but they taste so good.

Seriously though, I've seen what goes on in these battery farms and it's sickening. That's why I only ever try to eat free-range.

I don't know how we can see this as a serious subject when every day we're drowning in the filth and depravity that people do to people. Stop the bombings, the rape, the murder, the genocide, and all the other **** that we've become so accustomed to that doesn't even make us flinch anymore when we hear about it, then start helping Percy Pig.

What a moronic argument. In that case why are you on TiBB? Get out there and help the unfortunate! Why do we watch TV? Lets scrap that! Why the we have ANY debates whatsoever in out society? Scrap all of them! Scrap space exploration! Scrap everything!

People want to be vegetarian. It does not mean helping humanity is going to stop dead in it's tracks. It hardly takes much effort. You just ... don't eat meat.

I am now going to log off and save the world, because ProbeEight Crankypants says so. It wasn't an argument. It's my opinion that there are more pressing matters needing to be dealed with before we start thinking of the furry ones' feelings. If people want to be vegetarian, that's fine. It is their choice. It's everyone else's choice to eat deliciously charred flesh. Vegetarians should make peace with that and not scream murder.

But it's an opinion that makes very little sense. What has being vegetarian got to do with not saving humanity? Because in that case, my argument was spot on. After all, posting on TiBB is not helping humanity either. Neither is most of the other things we do during the day. So to say there are more pressing issues than vegetarianism is a bit of a non entity, don't you think? Do you think every vegetarian on the planet spends all day screaming murder at a wall instead of going to work and having showers?

There's a difference in what we're talking about. Being vegetarian is a choice people make, and it's fine. It's the 'meat is murder' rant I have a problem with, where people can't be happy with the choices they make and shove their beliefs down my meat-filled mouth. Just like Christianity.
